Crazy if you really look at all the events that have occured since then... reminds me of that Boondocks Episode
Since he died ....Bloods, BD's, GD's, VL's, Crips, KKK trading the hoods for uniforms, Reggae, Breakdancing, Hip Hop, Crack,Tupac & Christopers Deaths, Lil Wayne....Soul Plane

He was never violent, attented college at age 14-15, Avid Civil Rights Leader married with little ones and they bombed where he slept
He lead numerous protests and sit ins.... broke unjust laws and was arrested more than Gucci Mane
They even bombed where he stayed and missed him by hours. He went toe to toe with Oppressors,Racists, Closet Racists and Biggots
He killed em with kindness & truth, and they silenced him. I know they're are better pics but heres a few
I was born 91 in Chicago, Raised in NYC ..... MLK is appreciated

With Martin Luther King Jr. Day right around the corner, Oliver Stone announced Friday that he is no longer on board to write and direct a biopic about the Civil Rights leader. Stone took to Twitter to explain that his rewrite of the script, which dealt with “issues of adultery, conflicts within the movement, and King’s spiritual transformation” was not well received by producers. It’s unclear how or if Stone’s leaving will affect Jamie Foxx, who was attached to star in the DreamWorks and Warner Bros production.

I'm more interested in the Oliver Stone script than anything...

I wish he was still on board with it.

But we need a picture of Martin that's more authentic, and really reflects the movement from a different perspective.

It is therefore a factual statement that under US Civil Law, the US government assassinated Dr. King.

Nothing is concrete when discussing the direction the movement took, or rather why the movement fizzled out, but if the sole aim was to gain Civil Rights to the fullest extant, then imo the movement was too short sighted. King even knew the limitations of this, and he was focused more so on the issues impacting the poor, and disadvantaged, and he was beginning to voice his disillusionment with the whole system. The last few speeches of King took on a different direction. 

I look at Oakland in the late 60s and 70s with Huey P, Bobby Seale, and a host of other cats who were intent on continuing the legacy left behind by King, and Malcolm, but there are too many instances where drugs were flooded into communities, and agents being planted within the Black Panther organization where there was a deliberate attempt by people in power to disrupt the whole agenda. 

So imo it was a grand scheme/design that started with the assassination of JFK, Malcolm, and King. 

We haven't had any leaders on the world stage since.
