Do you ever go to the movies or out to eat by yourself?

Last year when my schedule was weird - working a decent amount of nights and random days off during the week I would catch matinees by myself.

I don't see the point of eating at a sit down restaurant by myself. That's a social activity. I can eat by myself at home

Going and grabbing a drink and food at a place with a bar is a different situation. Can talk to the bartender or other folks at the bar. Sitting at a booth/table by myself just seems pointless

exactly, I don't why people act like this is so strange and weird to do. I do it all the time. Ain't no thing for me and I love it. Me myself, I don't have anyone that I hang out with or could hang out with on the regular, so it's either stay home and be bored or go out and have some fun. I do everything by myself and I will continue to do so until I meet someone who is willing to hang out with me often (i.e a girlfriend or a friend). I say that if you don't have any friends to hang with why not just go out by yourself? it sure is better than staying home doing nothing.
 
I just checked out Her by myself. I enjoy going to a mid day movie alone. Its relaxing and a great stress reliever.
 
wouldnt do it at a sit down restaurant like chilis or olive garden
and no for the movies
 
I can't do that man. call it terrible but I've brought girls that I deaded and can't stand to be in a convo with to movies that I have to see
 
Movies, I can do solo, long as I go during the day. I mean, it was weird the first time, but only until the movie starts.

Eating, as long as there is a bar area. I would feel weird taking up a whole booth or table

Hookah Bars with friends are fun.... If you want to smoke by yourself, its best to buy one and smoke at home.
 
I've never gone to the movies by myself but I gladly would. Probably during the day preferably.

I wouldn't sit down in Applebees or something. I bring food home usually and if I'm not near my house I eat in the fast food place but thats about it.
 
I got out all the time by myself.

Usaully I always met or take home a girl this way. I go to bars, o charlies, mall anywhere by myself
 
I usually have Friday off so I used to go to the movies in the morning by myself. Sometimes I'd go with a friend, but I usually watch 2-3 movies :smh:.
 
I've only eaten by myself at a bar. I will not outside in the cold if inside is crowded like the dude above tho.
 
Go to a bar myself for what? Lol I'll rather go to the liquor store and cop a personal, and eat? They have take out.. Never did the movies by myself but don't see nothing wrong with that but the others :lol:
 
WTH?? You fools never go to a cafe for breakfast my your lonesome?? Grubbin, surfin on your phone, people watching, while sippin coffee outside w/fresh air?!?!!? YA'll AINT DOIN IT.
 
Mall solo all the time. Eat solo all the time. I've never done the movies solo though

Nah, not an actual hookah lounge anyway. It's rare to see one person by their lonesome at a hookah lounge but I wouldn't knock it.
