Jordan 3 Cement 88's - Real or Fake?

What up Niketalk fam,

Just bought a pair of Jordan 3 Cement 88's from Ebay and wanted to get your opinion if these Cements are legit or fake.   Everything looks legit to me but I would love to get your quick opinion whether they are real or fake.  The seller had good reviews but never hurts to be safe than sorry.  I bought these shoes for $289 free shipping.  Thank you again and I really appreciate all the help!!!

Not that I notice but maybe I need to look deeper.  I took some closer photos so you can see.  Sorry my light at my house isn't the best but here they are

I'm thinking they are fake. EP is a bit too thick and all the EP I have seen on the '88s are mismatching (thick and thin). Is the price tag on the box removable/perforated?

That's what I'm thinking too.  That's what makes me nervous when I compare them to my black 3's (but are not 88's just the jumpman) and that's why I was wondering if the 88's are thicker or every shoe varies.  Thanks for your input adooks!!!

The price tag is removable/perforated.  What's throwing me off is I have the fire reds and black 3's but both not 88's and I notice the box for the fire reds and my black 3's are the same size but these white cements 88's box is slightly bigger.  Is that normal for 88's?  I posted a photo below to show what I'm talking about.  Also, all my 3's fit good but these white cement 88's are true to size on the left shoe but the right shoe is more snug in the toe area.  Is that all based on how it's manufactured?  Thanks again for your input sneakerp!!!! I really appreciate it!!!

Different box size is usually a sign of GM, at least that is the case with AJ1. I have both pairs at home that are the same size. I'll check it both boxes and confirm tonight.

Cool!!!  Right on Sneakerp!!!  I really do appreciate all the help!!!  Dropped $289 for these and want to make sure I'm not rockin some fakes and they fall apart on me.  Thanks again!!!  I appreciate it!!!

I knew I saw a widows peak, but couldn't remember if some 3s had them or not.
 
tjbro24 tjbro24 That price should have been a red flag especially with free shipping. Lowest I've seen is $300 for these, no free shipping.

Right on for your input Timmybrixxx!!!!  I'm thinking the same thing bro.  As I look closer to each shoe, I'm starting to see things I don't like and usually I feel confident when I cop a pair but this pair makes me feel hesitant.  Not to mention, the right shoe is pretty snug in the toe area compared to the left and I never had that problem with any of my J's.   Thanks again bro!!! I appreciate it!!
 
honestly from the pictures they looked fine, I had no idea about the eyelet positioning, and never heard of the red stitching being a tell all sign about it. that box though lol

some do, but they are usually a little smaller on RDs if that makes sense.. Also with all of the other tells at play i feel its worth mentioning.. If it was just widows peaks i wouldnt fail them.

Also another little trick with 3s is usually the GMs are slightly taller than the RDs making the back tab seem outta proportion.. it looks taller bc the shoe is actually taller.. compare OPs pix with the black cements next to them.. see how the GM 88' is taller, making the back tab look tall as well.

That's what I'm saying bro!!  I guess I was just hoping I get lucky and everything was legit based on his reviews.  Then again, it could've been all his boys giving him good reviews. haha.  He says money back guaranteed so lets see if he honors it!!!  Thanks again Sneakerp!!!
