SUPER BOWL XLVIII
Sunday February 2, 2014

MetLife Stadium East Rutherford, New Jersey

    VS.

This is the Super Bowl matchup a lot of the experts predicted.

Some tidbits for this game.

- Peyton Manning. He will be the focus of the Super Bowl coverage over the next two weeks. Peyton had a godlike season thus far; has the MVP on lock, but anything sort of winning the Super Bowl  will make this season a failure in spite of everything he has done. He's been under immense pressure this season, and so far he's been able to handle it. Now he just has one more thing to accomplish.

- Peyton Manning & his receiving corp vs. The Legion of Boom - Anxious to see how they matchup against each other. Whoever wins this battle will likely win the game (I know I'm stepping out on a limb

Prediction: Broncos 31 Seahawks 20

MVP: Peyton Manning

We have struggled against mini receivers before.  Welker could have a big game if we don't plan properly.

This is going to be a fantastic game.

Hopefully there is no rain or snow and the worst they'll face is 35 degree temps. That favors Seattle with their defense, run game and in tow forcing Peyton to air it out in a cold wind.

I think no one can stop Denver's offense the way they are playing now. It won't be a high scoring game because Sherman will blanket Thomas but Decker, Thomas and Welker could do serious damage.

28-20 Denver wins.

It's been unseasonably warm in NJ.

Except the game to be in the 50s.

:x at giants fans saying their rooting for Peyton cause he's a manning :x

Really :x

Didn't the Seahawks like... absolutely demolish the Giants a few weeks ago?

They're probably still upset about that.

I wouldn't be upset if Seattle won the Super Bowl...

but my gut feeling tells me that Peyton and the Broncos will win that game....don't care to post the supposed score because it's irrelevant...Denver will win~

i'm a giants fan. haven't heard anything about this from any other giants fans that i know

don't care if peyton wins just cause he's dude's bro. what relevance does it have to the giants or their fans?

No 12th man

Inexperience from the Seahawks

Hawks #1 penalized team in the league. You cant do that against Peyton.

Russel has been playing subpar on the low

Broncos Win.

Why are people so convinced Peyton is going to tear this defense to shreds? That offense didn't put up too much points against some scrub defenses (compared to Seattle's).
I'm worried about Russ though, he's been looking really unimpressive these past weeks. I do hope he gets Percy back and wins though so I'm going with my gut saying Seattle will win.

I think Lynch on offense and the SEA pass rush will decide the game..I expect Peyton to identify where either Lane/Maxwell/Thurmond are at all times, Lane in particular, and throw in his direction early && often.

Russell Wilson has to be more careful with the football in his hands. However, I think he will play a good game (under the radar guy that could have a huge game: Jermaine Kearse). Percy's return will only help, but can/will he stay injury free for 60 mins?? As for DEN, I think their backs are likely gonna be in for a rough night. And I wonder how the Moreno/Ball balance will play out, given Foxy's tendency to trust his veterans on top of Ball's ball security issues at times this year.

Gonna be a great game, I think. Could see either team winning...but I think Peyton && co. are on a mission and win this game, 27-23, and maybe...just maybe, #18 goes out on top.

Russell was pretty good today minus the fumble at the end. Dude had zero time in the pocket and still made some damn good passes.

Not worried about Peyton dialing in with his receivers. Looking to see both Moreno and Ball get the ground running, which just make the receiving game flow that much more against the tough Seattle D. You just know Peyton is gonna want to torch Sherman and crew, in the most humbling of ways  .

Hope the weather isn't a total pain in the *** to take away from what should be a great game. As long as the Pats aren't in it :pimp: .

Broncos 28
Seahawks 18
MVP Peyton Manning
