First off, If he's not a reserve with his numbers, it's a Crime of Epic Proportions.

Hey guys, I've been into sneakers for a while especially the D roses and now i'm really starting to get into them. I have a question though, did I miss the window to get The Lake colorway? If I still wanted to cop some now what would be the best route?

It was said to be a Chicago(not 100% sure on this one), China, and Euro exclusive. Ebay is your best bet right now.

A big thing is looking at the seller's feedback -- for one, look at their feedback rating but also look at the individual auctions of theirs that buyers have given feedback on.
My tip is to look back on other shoes they've sold and see the feedback they received. Generally you can tell from this.

I don't believe these were available here in Chicago. At least not at HoH, Footlocker, Champs, or Adidas downtown.
Full disclosure though, I haven't been looking to buy that colorway myself.

I don't have any other 5s so I couldn't really tell you. But with two pairs of socks(ADIDAS team speed/ nike elite) there's still room. Mine are a 10. Coulda Been happy in a 9.5 or even a 9. I remember my drose2 I felt great in a 9.5. Maybe they fixed this problem though. My 5s are samples

Yeah I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm not sure where you're, located but also check Adidas outlet stores. I've seen the 4 and 4.5 over the last few months at locations in IL, IN, MI, and VA.

anyone seen the bhm in person? are they still stiff like the rest besides bad dreams and ice?

I don't have those two but I did pick up the BHM. Compared to the red blue and the all black away, the leather upper on the BHM isn't stiff.
I can see the midsole portion with the wording on it maybe being stiff compared to the other two I've mentioned, but I haven't worn any of my 5s yet.
