Adidas D ROSE 5

Want to get a second pair with these discount prices, they'll probably get to $60 like some of the retros but seeing the sample/prototype 6, I should probably save my money for those. Yeah the primeknit stuff should be a big thing later this year gotta wait for those too.
 
Do the Homes get dirty fast? For those who played in them. Are they the type to turn yellow after a few wears?

Question... I never tired on the current Rose 5 shoes.. but from what my friend told me about his previous shoes they fit narrow. I wear sz 12 and i kinda have wide feet so would these fit me?
 
Rose out. Again. It's getting to be a cyclical thing. Man I feel for the guy but it looks like his career will be cut short because of this. Another knee surgery.

And of course the 5s will make their inevitable way towards outlets. Doesn't take a business genius to see the negative corration between Rose's injuries and the price of his shoes.
 
^Man... I did not want to believe what I was hearing.  As with most others, I was stoked to see him coming back into form.  Afraid that this may be another Brandon Roy type situation.

Yeah, based on just this season alone it didn't seem like he was going to hold up.  On off on off.  Poor guy.

Roy came to mind for me as well, along with Jay Williams out of Duke.  So much potential there that didn't get realized.  Rose was MVP status before all of the injuries and surgeries.  The Bulls were Championship contenders.  Really sucks.  I think Chicago needs to move in a different direction, as much as I like Rose.

if these 5s hit the outlet. i will be buying a bunch. these have been my To GO shoes since its released. so comfy and grip is good.
 
Oh I don't think it's a question of "if".  Definitely more of a "when".

Most colorways didn't sell out at retail.  They are now starting to go on sale.  Still not selling out.

Rose out again?  It's only a matter of time.  I think the question is how low will they go in outlets before they move off shelves.  I think the 4/4.5's went down to about $50-70 before they started to move at my local outlet.
 
D.Rose's potential WAS Realized. Maybe not to it's greatest extent, but he's not some Greg Oden story... this is a former MVP. He did more than guys like Hill, Hardaway & Roy ever did.

What I can stand is the clowns dogging him for something he didn't ask for in the first place. I've never dogged out anyone for an Injury, and to do so is Childish & Ignorant. Rose went out there and gave it his ALL and was close to getting back to All-Star form. And it'd obvious he had VERY GOOD Reason for wanting to take it slowly back in November, when the Season started. You can tell if your Body is adjusting or if it isn't... no matter what the MRI's say.

My main problem is that guys like Grant Hill & Penny Hardaway were never Chastized for their Injuries the way this man, has been... actually most people Celebrate them, instead! An ACL, then a Miniscus in the opposite Knee, then another Miniscus... and people have the audacity to criticize that? The Human Race disgusts me for alot of reasons, but this is definitely one of them.

STILL, he will always be one of my Favorite Basketball Players of All-Time, no matter the outcome. I wish him nothing but the best going forward!

Down 1 size and used my top ten 2000 insoles!
I've been playing in them since they came out . Purchased them at the Adidas employee store

, it's got great lock down n the boost is that good

brendas? Some have said the other colorways fit more tts. Looking forward to these, the curry 1, and cf drive. xx8s right now for me before warranty expires.
 
Got mine in.

Lighting is terrible in my apartment. The shoe is dope. Leather is very high quality. Inner sockliner reminds me a lot of the Qasa hi.
 
That leather does look real nice. I just can't get over the fact that adidas basically took the drose 773 luxe upper/shroud and put it on the drose 5 sole then made justified the super inflated price tag by slapping y-3 on there. Seems like they've been taking good notes from Nike.
