Nike Flyknit Lunar 2

The design is growing on me, but definitely not digging the launch cws

Time to NikeiD?!

I posted this in the FK 1 thread but I figured I'd post it here since we have an official FK 2 thread now. I ordered these IDs last night. I tried to model them after the grey HTM FK Frees. They look kinda similar to the launch colorway that was posted up above but I definitely prefer the black accents on these :smokin. Can't wait until they come in.

I love the cris-cross midsole pattern on these.

Congrats they look great.

Prefer a single base color rather than the multi color blocking. Shoe looks really nice. I'll get a pair on sale. Wonder if they will do
A multicolor rendition?

I just noticed that the pics on NDC had the speckles on the soles. I wonder if the GR will have the speckles too. from the pics about, it doesn't look like they do. should add a little flare with the speckles I think.

Any idea on when the next round of CWs will come out after the initial Feb 6 release (based on last year's release dates)?

Also, any hot leads on where these might be on sale after 2/6?  Do you think FNL will have a $20 off coupon for Feb. that would apply?

I ordered a pair of Lunar 1's from FNL this week (they'll get here next week), but after seeing these 2's, I'm about 99% sure that I'll return the 1's and get the 2's.  Not really in love w/any of these original CW's and I did design a fresh pair that I love on NikeiD, but that's a lot of scratch for a pair of shoes!

What's the durability like on the 1's (for those that own them) now that they've been out for a while?  I read that the tread wears down pretty fast.  True?  How about durability of the rest of the shoe?  Easy to keep clean too?

Thanks!

If it's anything like the Lunar 1s, the next wave will drop around the end of March.  These are GR shoes, so they will be available at many stores.  The FNL coupon does not apply to new releases unless its part of your FNL Rewards membership.    I answered your other questions in the Lunar 1 thread.

Think I like the lighter grey on the womens more than the darker grey for the mens

might try and pick those up

sick! missconceptions missconceptions Nike be making me broke this February. really want Kobe 9 masterpiece. ugh.

Broke why? This is a no brainer. Get the Masterpiece 1st then go after these. I'm sure they will be around a few weeks if not longer after release. I'm also in the same boat I just can't decide between Volt, Blue or Wolf yet.

spaceorlando spaceorlando mostly because there's, what, 12 days before the 9s drop, and as much as I'd love to close my eyes and not look at other shoes.. the well laid plans of nice and men. of course it's a no brainer, just no telling what other releases pop up

What do y'all think of my Nike iD design (not that it'll ultimately sway my decision one way or the other:smile:?

Can't decide if I want to go for a GR CW or Nike iD.  I'm not super thrilled about any of the original CWs but the iD is super expensive!  Maybe one of the GR CWs will grow on me after I try them on in person.

Bonus point to whomever gets the quote from my iD poster.

Winner winner!  And did you read it in your best Forrest Gump voice?

So, I've never done the iD for any other shoe.  For the sake of comparison, what's a shoe that I could iD that has some good or more options?

^ They're 2 totally different shoes, but the Kobe 8 has tons of options compared to the FK2s.

As for your colorway, I'm not a fan . Too much going on imo. Like you said though don't let me sway your opinion.

All good!  Don't you know that as a running shoe, it's supposed to have lots of color?!  Nah, but I could see if it was more a style shoe, some more muted themes, but personally, I like the bright colors without making it overly garish.   I kept the color scheme to primary colors other than the orange tag on the back (point of flair!).

Played around w/the Kobe 8, but it's never a style of shoe I'd wear.  I can see why they have more options (more materials used), but honestly, being different materials, I'm not sure what other options they could put on the FKL2 (other than, maybe more color options, which I personally don't see a need for).
