Just saw the article. I'm waiting for one of the Matt's to confirm though. Probably April Fools

all this conversation about sammy watkins is exciting, but yall are breaking my heart talking about not resigning crabs in the future..I hope we retain him.

would I be wrong to think that watkins would be the replacement for anquan if anything, considering he's only got a few seasons left?

I really want Sammy. I wouldn't mind moving up and trading some picks, it's not like we keep all those rookies anyways. Lattimore , Carridine will make their debut and fill up spots. We go for the homerun in Watkins. Dude is a stud.

But what would we be trading to move up and grab Watkins? And where would we trade up to? If Niners were to trade up think of clowney on our squad.

Sad to say Niners don't have the kaep space to sign Jackson. He'd have to take a serious discount to sign with us

I posted about the cost a couple pages back
let's say the 49ers had to give up what ATL gave up to get julio jones. we would still be left with a 2nd, 2 3rds, 5th and 7th in the draft this year after adding the most dynamic and explosive receiver in the draft.

we would lose our 1st and 4th next year, but baalke could easily turn that 2nd into a 1st next year. plus baalke is super savvy when it comes to these situations. i'm sure he could get over on reggie mckenzie.

as far as clowney lol no come on.

Ideally i want Watkins not D jax even tho he could help right away. Watkins has the speed and built like a tail back.

yeah id rather have sammy watkins as well. better character, younger, cheaper and i feel like he has the potential to more productive in multiple facets of the game.

That lowering the boom after the catch like he did at Clemson prolly won't be happening, but that tail back build will help.

Yes, having the best WR in the draft, who can make an immediate impact. And still have 5-6 picks in the draft. It is well worth it to me.

This season is like  the 1994 season in the sense that it appears to be super bowl or bust...

The draft is KEY considering we aren't doing jack in free agency.
