So does taking a punter in the 5th mean that this guy is that good? Or do they not think too highly of the remaining players?

Trent Baalke on kicker/punter: “...we feel good going into this season that it (making a change) probably isn’t going to be this season.”

Dude is 6'5 230 :wow:

i was going to say with how unscripted this draft was going wouldnt be surprised if 9ers grab a punter, but at the same time tell me this guy was going to be drafted at all

Andy Lee was slippin this past season. Dude had been so reliable prior to the second half. But considering how many three and outs our offense had, I'm not surprised by any potential leg fatigue

If pinion handles kick offs too, I hope he can drive the ball deep into the end zone. From what I recall, dawson rarely ever does

exclusive footage of baalke in the war room showing us his late round draft strategy:

i guess we can say niners stayed true to who they felt was BPA even though if it were a reach. this draft has kids that wont be ready for a couple seasons which is weird because niners needed players who can contribute now.

man im just confused af

Excited for Blake Bell's potential such a weak tight end class that from the get go I thought he and Clive Walford were easily the most physically gifted and athletic.

May end up being another Celek for us but has a chance to be long term starter in the future if he works hard.
