Ahmad Brooks indicted on sexual assault charges and the hits just keep coming to this beleaguered 49ers team. There have been many points throughout this offseason where I have thought to myself, "Well, at least nothing worse can happen to the 49ers". Much to my surprise and dismay however, it just keeps getting worse. I thought when Harbaugh was fired things were bad. Hah! I thought when Patrick Willis, Chris Borland, Justin Smith, and Anthony Davis all retired one by one things couldn't get much worse. Wrong again! I didn't mind seeing Crabtree gone and letting Gore go was probably the right move, but when ALDON SMITH, arguably our most prized possession, was released after a THIRD DUI INCIDENT I truly believed it could not get worse. But no, wrong again, it can get worse. Brooks will be cut from the roster and likely will do some time. At this point given the 49ers offseason trends and STAGGERING arrest records (most of any team in NFL 2010-2014) I am pretty convinced Bruce Miller will be suspended or cut as well for his pending domestic abuse investigation before the start of the regular season. And I thought the Raiders were supposed to be the 'thugs' of the NFL, hah!

"Next man up", or so the saying goes, but at this point the 49ers are legitimately running out of next men to send up. Getting Bowman back is huge and acquiring Torrey Smith was a good move, last year made it clear that the 49ers were severely hampered by a lack of effective receivers. Hopefully with a trio of Anquan 'The Beast' Boldin, Torrey Smith, and a rejuvenated Vernon Davis CK7 will be able to connect in the passing game. Aussie Jarryd 'The Plane' Hayne seems promising as far as special teams returns go but it seems guaranteed Carlos Hyde, Reggie Bush, and Kendall Hunter will get most of the calls on the ground so there isn't much room for another RB. Why did we ever want Reggie Bush (30 years old) to begin with? I thought age was part of why we let out franchise RB Gore go.  All things considered we have FAR too many RB's and TE's and NOT ENOUGH Offensive linebackers or CBs. I saw we traded 2 TE's for a 5th round pick from Washington and an OL from the Patriots, which was a nice move, but this only temporarily patches the situation it does not resolve it.

Collin Kaepernick is going to need to have an explosive yet accurate passing game this season as most teams in the league seem to have figured out the Harbaugh/Roman designed play-action and scramble scheme that helped him rise to fame so quickly. Unfortunately that will require protection in the pocket, which the 49ers O-Line failed at abysmally last year (most sacks under pressure of any QB in the league). Our O-line is even worse on paper this year so unless there is a breakthrough in offensive line scheme the 49ers will NEED to either use some of that free salary cap space or trade for better offensive linesmen. The clock is ticking, the regular season begins in less than 3 weeks. Can they put it all together? Yes. Will they? We shall see.

Well put heatseeker23

The think the season hinges on Kaepernick being able to take his game to another level

I hope Hayne makes it. It would be a smart PR move and he's clearly got talent

Supposedly Hayne got put on his *** at practice against the Broncos... But right after, he scored a 60 yard TD :pimp:

...I take it back.

I'm am NOT a football or 49 expert. I have no mother ******* clue what the **** is going on. I don't even know. I don't.

Why are we sexual and alcoholic deviants as a team. I can't explain it.

I need a drink for every mistake they've made so I can die.

with how many LBs we losing, we finna have more arrests than wins.

that being said, I'm still ******* excited for the season

i have no doubt the defense will be good. mangini has the right pedigree to lead these guys.

killa kap has to regain his gillette stadium form, or he could be playing in a different uniform next year.

Niners having a good week with the story or Jarryd hayne, 1 step forward

Then Ray McDonald and Ahmad brooks takes 3 steps back. Lol.

kap is grinding tough. I noticed dude has been looking grimey all offseason. no fresh cuts, no stupid *** lines in his head, etc. only focused on becoming a better quarterback and leader.

*hears on the news kaep is accused of rape again*
Kap has been accused before but nothing significant  or damning has ever come to light. Usually just dumb **** and groupies trying to use pro athletes like they usually do. This incident made me laugh, particularly the sections I've bolded:

"According to a memo sent by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office, Kaepernick's attorney said the woman met Kaepernick last year and the two had sex shortly after. Kaepernick tried to cut off contact from the woman, including changing his phone number, after she told Kaepernick she was pregnant as part of an April Fools joke in 2013.

The woman said she made arrangements to visit Lockette in Miami with the assumption that she would also see Kaepernick at the time of the incident. On the night of the alleged incident, Lockette invited the woman to the hotel and had some drinks before her behavior changed. Police responded at the scene and found the woman acting "belligerent and highly agitated," and eventually committed her to the hospital under the Baker Act, which states that a person can be held involuntarily if they appear to be in danger to himself/herself or others.

-USA Today June 12 2014

So basically she hooked up with a pro athlete and probably was just some weekend *****. When he stopped calling/texting and cut her off she got mad, so she used another pro athlete to try and see him. Then after having too much to drink, publicly embarrassing herself, and being temporarily committed to the mental hospital as a danger to herself and others she tried to turn it around and play the victim card. LMAO @ these ****

#49ers NaVorro Bowman on pre-practice routine: "It's not really two hours." http://blog.sfgate.com/49ers/2015/08/27/navorro-bowman-downplays-pre-practice-routine/

No bad things that happened today? :pimp: :pimp:

Do you guys think that Reggie or Kendall aren't playing, so maybe they might be trying to field offers from other teams?

I've read Hunter wants that RB1 spot :nerd:

Also, watching this replay of the Niners/Cowboys game on NFLN and I didn't catch it when I was watching the game live but Dial and Harold ran a nice stunt for a sack :pimp:

good pickup! there's certain players that have cemented their place as all-time great 49ers and are worthy of having their jersey copped. P-willy is certainly one of them.

So I was listening to a Hayne interview from today

A Denver safety was the one that put him on his *** from what I understood... Safety mentioned to him that he should be running lower... Hayne took it as advice and said that's something he's trying to work on but being 6'2 is also at a disadvantage for him

Work boy, work! :pimp:

nice.

good to see wilhoite back out there. even picked off manning! no way in hell moody should start over him. wilhoite is by no means a stud, but he isn't a bum either.

we rolling with bow and wil......hoite.
