I wont take too much from that game line since Ian Sillberman and Erik Pears were starting. Tomsula has been playing musical chairs with the linemen all preseason and i am not sure why.

I think the best group would be to go Staley - Boone - Martin - Thomas - Brown

Would be some growing pains on the right side, but they're the most talented of the bunch and have looked the best in the preseason. The weakness is obviously in pass protection, but they've looked strong in the run game creating huge running lanes.

I think our defense is going to surprise many. We've got a lot of young, talented players, and Mangenius is ready to send the dogs at all times. Hopefully Brooks doesn't get released.

i rewatched the first half

los is special. dude has amazing feet and burst into the second level for a guy that is 6 ft 225 lbs. he trusts what his eyes see and that is a rare trait for a guy so early in his NFL career. i love the way he finishes every run. dude is so damn physical

No official announcement came Sunday from coach Jim Tomsula on who’ll be the opening-day starters on the 49ers’ embattled offensive line.

“Yeah we’re in the middle of that now with the staff, and I just walked out of that meeting,” Tomsula said on a media conference call. “Obviously I don’t want to make any comments until I talk to the players; they’re in tomorrow.”
