Eric Reid for Jimmy Garoppolo

Would you?

Kap better his **** together because these are the type of questions that are going to start to permeate throughout 49er social media.

Can easily see Kap being the scapegoat for this season, especially if things keep going downhill.

Not sure what happened to his confidence but I miss the QB that went into Lambeau Field in zero degree temperature and washed the Packers

Another 4 interception game, I will have to say yes.

Those 2 picks 6s looked like he was playing 3 flies up with the Cardinals DBs.

I want Tartt and Ward to get in more snaps. I feel they could be a lot better. And putting them in now would definitely help them progress faster.

Me too. Were playing sooooooooooooooooooo much zone, and its OBVIOUSLY not working well. We should transition to more man-based coverages. Acker and DJ have both looked solid when they're manned up. We need to let the player with the most range, jimmie ward, field his natural position at free safety. Eric Reid looks completely lost in the secondary. He looks tentative and scared when he has to make a tackle, which I can understand. Those concussions have ruined his career.

The more I rewatch the game, the more I see nothing more than simple assignments being blown across the board, especially by LBs and safeties.

Can someone post the PFF grades when they are out? Interested to see if anyone had a positive grade

I dont have the grades at the moment, but I know Arik Armstead graded the highest of anyone wearing a red and gold uniform last sunday.

Kap will be back. I know he is in a slump, but what i dont get is why is he getting all this heat. Not only from 49ers fans, but also the media. Saying "he sucks now", "we should move on" "Kap is a bust." Yada yada.

I know he is doing bad but this is not the end of the road, it cant be. Colin is the person to come back. Let me just say this, not to compare 49ers situation with theirs, but there is a QB in the NFL "future of the NFL" who statistically is doing worse than Kap. That team was an easy super bowl pick. But i dont see them being talked about as being doomed. Why always the 49ers.

Well be alright, lets get this win from the Packers.

Any Faithful from the northeast headed to MetLife Stadium for the game against the Giants?

BTW, Can the NFL flex a game out of prime time coverage this early in the season?

not eligible to play until week 7 vs seacocks

i would give easton a look at center. marcus martin is completely overwhelmed. easton at center, martin at right guard and brown at tackle, or you can also go boone at right tackle, brandon thomas at left guard.

we need to switch it up.

per tomsula no changes coming. everyone just needs to get better, what he doesnt realize there isnt any room for the right side of the line to get better, they just suck.

tomsula continues to show he wants to lead by example but he cant make a decision for **** :x

never thought i'd care to say this, but i really hope reggie bush is active for this sunday. if kaep is under the amount of pressure alex smith was seeing today, he's gonna need someone to dump it off to in the flat. idc if he has to become captain check down, whatever it takes to get him in rhythm
Heard on the radio that on average, Alex had 3.09 seconds to throw the ball yesterday....which is good for the 2nd most amount of time that any QB had in week 3.  Not sure if that is verified or not.

I wonder if that 3.09 seconds includes him buying time in the pocket and extending plays with his legs? not to mention, Alex Smith has a tendency to hold on to the ball longer than necessary. even though he might have had the second most amount of time that any QB had in week 3, that offensive line still gave up 6 sacks (so something isn't adding up) And watching the game, correct me if I'm wrong, but that line crumbled more often than not in pass protection.
