Don't know if this has been reported, but an NFL source indicates that Colin Kaepernick is expected to report to 49ers OTAs on Monday.

I'd refuse to pay the 5mil too. We have over $56 mil in cap space. No way we'd use it all anyway. Not that he's a great option, but Kaep could be a safety net in case of injury.

If he wants to ride pine for an entire season so be it. Either suck it up & take the pay cut or sit. Call his "I really want to be traded" bluff.

Entering training camp we have 3 QBs, one who is a rookie and will definitely be with the team

The other two are Kap and Gabbert... If Gabbert shows he deserves to be on the team over Kap, which he did based off last season... Then do they cut Kap and get nothing for him or do we go into the season with 3 QBs which is pointless

Cutting him is based off the fact that every team is situated with the QB position and we'll have no use

I wonder who budges first, Elway or Baalke... One will budge within the next few days/weeks

dont think it makes a difference. goff's primary job will be to sit and learn kelly's system. if kap is a good soldier, goff will likely be inactive on game days.

no point in paying kap's salary and cutting him. might as well get whatever you can out him. i think baalke would trade him for a day 3 pick before he cuts him. he's going to compete or ride the bench like a good soldier.

werent kap and QP boys? I went through QP's instagram, and there are zero mentions or pics of kap. you would think that if kap was his boy, he would post something showing his support for kap, especially since QP likes to show his teammates love on IG. he actually posted a video with aldon and a image of him and crabtree almost exactly one year ago.

i guess QP aint ******* with kap either.

 

it only took sunshine one game to get QP involved...
