QFT, unless your voice sounds like Ralph Barbieri or Ray Ratto, then I'll pass.

i wonder how bad the titans want to trade out of the first pick. maybe they'll get desperate and take something a little more reasonable than what washington gave up for rg3(3 1st rounders and a 2nd).

how about our 1st this season, 1st next season and the rights to former 1st round pick anthony davis? probably have to throw a 2017 day 2 pick in there, too.

 would yall do that?

QB class looks terrible next year....

right, but if kap is traded in conjunction with how poor the QB class is next year and if the titans come with a reasonable demand, i think baalke might feel inclined to do it, especially if kelly wants one of the QBs.

baalke wants to get this partnership started on the right foot. singletary wanted mays(

), harbaugh wanted kap and he got both of those guys for them.

goff in kelly's uptempo offense would be prolific. dude is tailor-made to run it. everything about his game translates: quick feet, quick release, quick information processor and quick decision maker. goff wouldn't have to worry about playing under center because kelly RARELY has his QB do it. it's a match made in heaven

goff transitions from drop back->scan-->avoid pressure-->throw so smooth

look at how damn quick, coordinated and synchronized his entire body is. his feet are sliding down to avoid the inside rush, and then he flips his feet/hips/eyes in a flash to get himself in a fundamental throwing position(call this readying). a sound throw under duress. smoooooth. a lot of guys wont try to get in the ready position with pressure in their face because they simply can't do it quick enough, so they panic and force a throw off their backfoot or try to muscle it.

baalke sure does love him some safeties

we've got a surplus with bethea, reid, tartt and ward. mccray, too.

:wow: Bosa is freaking young, only 20. I seen it metioned a while back Baalke loves to draft young pass rushers.

Sppeaking of one them, Aldon just resigned with oakland. That D could be a probem if Aldon brings back that crazy hungover aldon of 2011 and 2012 play on the field. Sucks he is only 26 could of been the best pass rusher.

I just want it to be draft week.

yeah, bosa is stupid young, but he's already big as ****. his frame is filled out. the guy already isn't twitchy/explosive, and i think he'll only get slower with time. i think dude could already be at his ceiling...

i just dont see enough pass rush tools to get excited.

going to interesting to see how JDR/kenny norton utilize those guys. i want to see what kind of front they run with to get all 3 guys on the field. all 3 are primarily edge guys, so it'll be interesting to say the least.

if they go buckner or jack in the 1st, I hope they'd move up to get Lynch in the second

I still want scooby wright though. plays all over that field, can shoot the gap and get into the backfield, tackles every ******* thing, reminds me of our old home improvement boy, Al Borland ...nfl.com has him compared to Zach Thomas.

this article does an excellent job breaking down Bosa:

http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/2/...-joey-bosa-ohio-state-defensive-end-breakdown
Bosa, for me, is a little too robotic and stiff in the hips like a machine  (get it?), especially when he is out in space. He's fine as long as he can do everything like he practiced it, probably a gazillion times, but when it's not as clear cut, he isn't as successful. Don't get me wrong, he was a fantastic  college football player. His combination of good technique, size and power gave him some distinct advantages over a lot of the guys who tried to block him at that level. Unfortunately for Bosa, once he gets on the next level that will rarely be the case.

I don't think Bosa will be a "bad" player, and, barring injury, I would expect him to play for a long time in the NFL based on his size and technique. I don't see him being any kind of all-star, but he will still probably be a good, productive player.

The problem for him is most teams aren't trying to pick a "pretty good player" in the top of the first round. They want future All-Pros and maybe even future Hall of Famers, and many teams are willing to risk taking a bust if a guy shows he has that kind of potential. While I like Bosa's film from a technique standpoint and acknowledging that his power is also impressive, I would be shocked if any team called his name during the first half of the first round. I don't believe anyone is going to watch the same film I saw and come away thinking he has a ton of untapped potential.
EXACTLY how i feel.

perfectly summed up. dude is a robot on the field. i simply don't see enough pass rushing traits to get excited.

why would anyone take bosa over shaq lawson? both are big, strong dudes that shine against the run, but show me a pass rush weapon that bosa has in his arsenal that compares to shaq lawson's inside spin move. shaq lawson's frame isn't maxed out, either. dude is carrying a little bit of fat on him. he could get bigger, leaner and more explosive with time in a NFL weight room. bosa also has red flags. dude refused to take a drug test because he knew he'd piss hot.

this guy will be my 2nd round pick in my final mock leading up to the draft. i love vernon butler, but you can't have everyone and the draft is deeeeeeeeeeeep in DL. addressing the offensive line by adding a nasty, downhill mauler that will thrive in kelly's inside zone will pay dividends in the long run and lighten the load for our young franchise QB going into the future.

the concerns about him having his heart outside of football were put to rest for me:
As for any concerns about mangling his hands in football and what that could mean for his future as a surgeon, he admitted there are worries about that, "but if it happens, it happens. I'm gonna throw these hands as many times as powerful as I can. If they get messed up, I'll figure out a way around it."
start off day 2 with joshua garnett after we land goff on day 1. that's how it's drawn up.

aint mad at that. although it's not a sexy pick, if recent 49ers' history has proved anything, it's that a solid line can make a mediocre QB look above average.

damn i miss the line of staley, iupati, goodwin, AD, and boone. i took that line for granted.

stanford running a little stretch zone play right here. kelly uses the stretch zone, too, but for the most part, his running games revolves around inside zone. the inside zone has more of a downhill, drive blocking element to it. think along the lines of the power that we ran with harbaugh. not exactly the same but similar.

since it's an outside zone run, garnett has to get lateral. he's uncovered, which means there's nobody in his zone front of him, so he has to look for work in the next zone. keeps his hat inside. notice how he finishes his block. he always finishes his blocks. one his biggest strengths.

stanford running a PIN AND PULL run right here. a chip kelly staple.

garnett isn't the most graceful dude on the move, but dude's technique is clean and he's very smart. moves solid for a big, powerful dude. notice the subtle jab he puts on the defender as he's pulling.

more pin and pull. stanford had garnett do everything,

When your money is long, eating healthy & good ain't a problem... I believe its possible without taking any enhancement drugs

If he said 20lbs of muscle, then maybe I would think he was taking something

he still looks really lean in his latest pictures, so I presume it's 20 lbs of mostly muscle.

which i have no problems with. i am pro juicing.

he's got dreads now, too. i always thought players with dreads looked so cool with them ***** banging out of the helmet.
