I can't believe I just woke up to this mess... No Goff or Wentz for us... Damn man!

Oh well.. Most likely we get jack or Buckner I think

Are there any other top QBs to be considered in the later rounds? Looks like I have to prepare myself for the Blaine Gabbert era lol.

Glad the Rams traded up. Wasn't big on Goff unlike you Cal homers lol.
We can focus now on drafting what really helped us win a few short years ago. Defense defense defense !

My mock differs from yours by 1 pick. See above.

ravens need big time help in their secondary. i can't see them passing on ramsey.

he's better at safety, and we've got 4 guys that can play safety. personally, i don't even think he'll be the best safety from this class when we look back 5 years from now...

as a corner, he's okay. has issues keeping up with smaller, shiftier guys. far from lock down.

for all the hype ramsey got at the combine, eric reid and jalen ramsey have nearly identical combine numbers...

Oh, I don't disagree with taking Deforest, I just don't see the Ravens passing on him for some reason. Their 2015 secondary issues come from lack of pass rush, IMO. The Ravens have had great defenses in the past 10 years. Besides Ed Reed and Chris McAlister, their success has been because of the rush.

Suggs having another season ending surgery has them panicking. If I were Trent....

Buckner > Ramsey. Just don't see Baltimore passing on that size.

trade back, and start the draft with vernon butler. we can double or even triple dip in the second with all the picks we have.

if kap gets traded to the broncos and jets resign fitzgerald, good chance paxton falls to the second now. i'd be happy with him there.

vernon butler, paxton lynch and josh garnett in the first two rounds.

Red what do I do what do I tell people how is this good for us how can we get God still you know the ways you have the answers show me please show us

i dunno bro

i guess we aim to take out goff. 320lbs vernon butler falling on goff could be like tony siragusa flatlining rich gannon.

Chip Kelly & his DL coach Jerry Azzinaro recruited, signed (in '12) & coached Arik Armstead & DeForest Buckner. Could end up with both in SF

that ****** cris collinsworth called the rams-titans trade a month ago. check out who he has us landing
7. San Francisco 49ers: DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon Ducks
Buckner is the most physically imposing player in the draft at 6-7 and 291 pounds. He is not a pure pass-rusher — and has more quickness than speed — but his slippery quickness, length, and size creates endless possibilities for Chip Kelly and the 49ers. He has the durability to stay on the field as well — Buckner played over 100 snaps in two different games. Assuming he won’t have to play as many snaps in the NFL, Buckner may become one of those players that has to be double-teamed on almost every play, creating one-on-one opportunities for the 49ers’ edge rushers. At his best, Buckner could disrupt like Seattle’s Michael Bennett, but at a minimum, Buckner’s quickness should compress the pocket and take away that step-up space that most QBs need. His 6-7 height should also deliver some key blocked passes and maybe a few blocked kicks during his career. He can get beat up on double teams occasionally, but there is too much to like for Buckner to slip out of the top 10.

i keep forgetting about kevin hogan. i like that dude. he needs work, but he has a lot of the intangibles that other guys dont. he's a really bright and a "gamer" on the field. dude battles. another guy that has seen his game improve from year to year. always good to have your arrow pointing up as you leave college.

needs to really polish up his footwork and throwing mechanics, particularly his inconsistent throwing base and his looping release. if he could get that stuff dialed in, he could be a good QB.

another one of my favorite players in for a visit
49ers to host Oregon State OL Isaac Seumalo for pre-draft visit
The San Francisco 49ers are bringing in another offensive lineman for a visit, as Matt Barrows is reporting the team has an official pre-draft visit with Oregon State guard Isaac Seumalo. The 49ers are working out a variety of players that are a little further down the radar, but potential options at guard. The team is looking at offensive tackles as well, but guard seems to be more of the focus in pre-draft visits.
Barrows brought up an interesting fact about Seumalo. He has been training with Joe Staley in Southern California during the offseason. This certainly doesn't guarantee he joins the 49ers, but maybe Trent Baalke looks for some insight from Staley.

Seumalo stands 6'4 and weighs 303 pounds, so he likely would put on a little more weight in the NFL. He dealt with a foot injury in 2014 that forced him to red-shirt the season. He bounced back in 2015, starting all 12 games for the Beavers. he has played tackle, guard, and center, but it sounds like his arm length and speed will keep him inside at the next level.
