I never expected a premier roster this year, i personally just want to see a change at QB

I don't understand how you guys like Balke. Look at our recent drafts, we had a 1000 picks and have one of the worst rosters in the league.

The team hasn't had any speed on offense besides Vernon in a decade. Crabtree was really our only attempt at having a #1 playmaking WR he just never ended up being that.

Balke and Jed York have been running this franchise in the ground for years

The hell you talking about. We lost like half our roster and our coach just two years ago. You sound like a fan that just started watching the Niners when we hired Harbaugh.

the only guy i am 100% positive needs to be fired after the season is jim o'neil.

does anyone really think this defense would suck if justin smith, ray mcdonald, aldon smith, patrick willis, chris borland, etc. were still around?

look at those ******* names, and then think about how far that set us back.

lol

Not expecting an exceptional roster but with all those picks, we should have a few more players to build around and more valuable assets. Baalke continuously reaching, drafting a punter, and taking chances on guys with torn acl's and major injuries in college has not paid off and is a big reason why we went from being the most talented team in the league to nothing in just a few short years.

Look at his last few drafts. Absolutely trash

These past two drafts are a great foundation of talent especially thismpast one. But there is still talent missing at Nt, Te, mlb, olb, wr, other than those positions talent is there. What i dont get is the niners shouldve traded kap to the broncos for the draft picks. Pay the cash and the niners woulve gotten more picks to build on.

although we might still be terrible with jim o'neil

i could see him using justin smith in coverage or pat to play nose tackle

our defensive coaching staff is atrocious.

desperate times call for desperate measures. i would fire jim o'neil RIGHT NOW, and give the DC reigns to jason tarver. yes, he sucks as well, but he didn't mismanage his players when he was in oakland. i hope chip doesn't plan to hold onto o'neil like he did billy davis in philly.

Kaep is starting if not next week, then for sure against TB at home the following game. Ponder ain't even suit up this season

Gabbert might be a better practice qb, but that **** hasn't translated into real games.. I wanna see Kaep out there again or **** Ponder even, we already getting blown out every game, can't get any worse.

With the first pick in the 2017 NFL DRAFT, the San Francisco 49ers select...

kizer or garrett
garrett looks good but is drafting another DE with our first round pick really the move now considering we just drafted Buckner this year?

since i think jed will cave to fury and vitriol from the fan base,
The fury and vitriol from the fan base are totally justified York has driven this team from an NFL top 5 and SB contender to practically Cleveland Browns level basement dwelling. With Harbaugh, Tomsula, Roman, Fangio, Chryst, and 51 of the 2012 starters gone there's no one left on the team for Jed to blame besides Baalke and himself and we all know how that will go, so I think it is safe to say bye bye Baalkie.

As ugly and ****** as this all is at least the flipside is that this offseason we will get rid of Kaep, Baalke, and should probably look at dealing away some of the remaining veteran talent such as Staley, Bethea, maybe Bowman (?) for some good picks and really get a 100% fresh start next season. It is what it is.

Not sure why we should draft another de with our first again. 3 straight years drafting DEs? :nerd:

You don't get a really good team by adding more youth, it has to be a perfect blend of youth and veteran experience. That said, I am against trading Staley and Bowman.

With a team as bad as ours we need to draft BPA. I can honestly see us going 1-15 so Myles Garrett come on down!

I don't have anything to look forward to this Sunday.... :frown: well niners losing not making it any better. So glad Giants playoffs. Warriors seasons. Sharks season all start soon

Lets face it. We can't fix this team in one year. Not like how harbaugh did

I don't think anyone has that expectation, for me it is more about what can we do to get better next year. Clearly that was the goal this offseason and it is looking as though we actually got worse. Taking a quick look at our schedule there's really only 1-3 remaining winnable games which means there is a chance we finish off even worse than under Tomfoola.

I think Kizer has a lot more tools and traits that translate to the NFL game than Watson does. That's all I know.

Myles Garrett is a generational talent. He's a 6'5" 270 lbs Von Miller. 5 star recruit and the #1 recruited player in the nation coming out of high school. All he has done since entering college is kick ***. You guys want to pass on that? Ahmad brooks is going to be 33 next season, and the only consistent edge rusher we've got is lynch.
