Juicing and not eating cant be good for your body. The body needs more than just blended fruits and vegetables.
If you wanna lose weight eat what you want but jog every day. And try not to sit on your *** all day
 
yeah man i was on a liquid diet and i was super cut.. you'll lose weight but you'll ******g starve. i dont recommend it long term
 
Diet is just that. You need a lifestyle change, OP.

I was in a similar boat. At my biggest I was 220 lbs at 5'10". Within one year I got down to 150 or so lbs. my lowest was 140 lbs. I've been at 160 lbs for a couple of years now and maintaining.

If you're in your late teens to thirties, time is with you. Get active and stay healthy.

at my biggest i was 260lbs and at my lightest i got down to 206lbs. but ive been using the holidays as an excuse to eat like crap, smh.

its all about what youre putting in on your diet. for me limiting sodium and carbs was big and no soda.

you can juice and cleanse but i wouldnt do it long term. you'll lose the weight quick but best believe you'll gain it just as fast. if you go back to your usual diet habits

remember to add cheat meals every once and awhile. you body needs those fats, sugars, sodium, carbs etc.

good luck. hardest part is being consistent

A good/tasty recipe is water, a green apple, spinach, strawberries, and if you want a banana. They are good meal replacers. Don't forget the ice for a nice cold drink.
 
I did a 3 day cleanse after watching this documentary. It wasn't easy by any means, even for a short period of time. I drop like 5-7 pounds though.

Not that it's good, but it's good to see I'm not alone on here. I see dudes wearing medium and small sizes and size 32 waist and I'm like I haven't been that size since high school :frown:

Blenders>>>>>> Juicers. You miss allot of nutrients only present in the skins. And the pulp left by juicers still possess juice. With blenders, nothing is wasted, all nutrients consumed.
 
Juicing seems like a gimmick to me....just eat lean and stay away from sugars, even natural sugars try to minimize...like fruits...basically veggies and lean meats.

fruits are completley fine to eat

just get rid of all other sugars from everything else.

its not hard to diet

clean diet and real food>>>>>>>juicing.
 
I only juice cus you get a ton of nutirents from veggies that are lost when cooked. And I dont like veggies (yes Im 5yrs old) so I blend em (and throw fruit in to sweeten and make taste good).

just decrease your caloric intake and reduce the amount of unhealthy foods. increase your expenditure of calories. das it mane.
this. just make juices/drinks but also eat healthier foods and do more exercise. it will help you more in the long run. juicing(only consuming fruits and vegetables) for an extended period of time could lead to malnutrition
 
This would be good for some of you that want to get veggies and healthy protein in but don't know how... also jucing for too long without eating is bad... juce and use something like this for protein

It does work..but don't mistake it for a quick fix. You will put on all the weight again if you don't commit to a lifestyle change.

Don't use too much fruit in your drinks. That will be your fat guy instinct because you want some sugary taste...fight it. Go 75/25 veggie if you can. When you're not drinking juice, WATER, WATER, WATER. You should be drinking 5-6 juices a day. Don't sip the juice. Pound it, you will get the feeling of being full. Within 20 minutes or so you will feel an energy explosion.

Some things to expect, you're breath is going to stink during this process. Thats one outlet your body is using to get rid of toxins. Try to fight the urge to chew gum since mint actually stimulates hunger. If you need the sensation of chewing something, get yourself some popsicle molds and make some homemade popsicles. Also make a fiber-less smoothie with juice and ice.

Don't cheat...remember when you cheat, you're cheating yourself out of reaching the goal you set out to complete. Good luck OP.

I didn't keep all the weight off...by the end of summer I had packed on about 15 of the 35 that I dropped. Not bad, but BBQs got to me. :tongue:
 
nah its pretty much the usual bulk (due to excess fiber) but slides right out

This is incorrect, if you're juicing like the video OP posted, you're drinking juice where the fiber has been removed (depends on the quality of your jucier). It is more like a diarrhea consistency, but its not that uncomfortable surprise of "I'm about to spray in my pants" lol...you just feel like you gotta take a regular dump..
 
bro don't do the 20 day one of the boat! That's like watching a ufc match and thinking you can do it just as well.
I work at a juice bar and we talk to people during their cleanses all the time.
ive seen the documentary as well but that's WAY TOO radical.
He had Doctors supervising him before during and after.
I would recommend you do a 5 day one to start.
i know you want to lose weight and all but once you end the cleanse you will be so calorie derived that your body will start to gain weight like crazy if you don't watch what you eat.
