OFFICIAL JUICING THREAD (NOT THAT TYPE OF JUICING)

Cut the rice, bread, pasta, soda, juice…. you don't have to step foot in the gym unless you choose, its all about how you eat…. :smoking

I don't even eat wheat pasta or brown rice anymore, been experimenting with quinoa and I love it

I'm currently doing this only in the morning. I should start doing it more than once.
What Im going to do is juice in the morning (for some reason, I find it hard to eat a healthy breakfast.), have a juice for lunch and then my lunch. For dinner I will have a light dinner like chicken and veggies.

Try doing that. Then slowly start taking away the actual food and do the juice by itself. Take is slow though.

Congrats on sticking with it OP. I've tried and failed a few times with the juicing diet.

kinda offtopic but sounds like Sherman Oaks Galleria.
Thanks man. Its very difficult to do. And again, its harder to do it by yourself.

And yes, that is the Sherman Oaks Galleria. I work here.

Wow congrats OP. 30 pounds in a month is amazing. :nthat:
Thank you, it feels amazing too man. Ive never lost this much weight in this amount of time. Feels great.

Great job op, I plan on starting with the gf on monday. Keep us updated on how the weight is affected once you start with solid foods. Curious as to just how much you will gain right back.
Thank you, good luck to you and your girl. Hope everything goes smooth for you guys. Just remember to stay focus and help each other out when one is about to fall off.

Solid foods are my enemy right now. First day I had a salad and felt like throwing up.

Yesterday I had a juice in the AM. Then a morning snack of some mixed nuts. Lunch I had a my juice and then a salad with walnuts. After that I had an afternoon snack of Pistachios. For dinner a piece of chicken breast (not that big).

Today in the morning I was on the toilet for a while and it did not feel good. Im gonna eliminate something today and see if that changes anything. Maybe cut out a snack.

Congratulations OP :nthat:
Thank you my brotha.

i need help.. gained mad weight, wifey wants me to lose weight also.. she saying she having to spread her legs a little wider now
I suggest juicing. Try it for a week and see how much weight you'll lose. You will be amazed and probably would want to do it longer.

If straight juicing is out of the question, then try adding juices to your meals. Try drinking a juice before you have your meal. This will fill you up quicker and wont leave you blotted afterwards.

Start walking for 10 minutes a day and add more time each day. The easiest way to do this is, walk for 5 minutes and then head back. The next day walk past yesterdays point and head back. Add some pushups too. Trust me, every little exercise helps. Hope this helps.

You may be too hard on yourself 30 lbs in a month is a huge amount of weight. People make that their year goal, be easy on yourself I'm sure you look great.

Waiting for pics

I'm actually considering this.

You guys have any recipes or websites with recipes you can suggest. I'm going to start on Sunday.

You are right. My wife said the same thing today. She said I need to continue working hard and I will get the results I want. But I did accomplish a lot and need to be a little more easier on my self.

Thanks for the comment.

Damn dude thats a big improvement IMO...congrats big time. I am a sick man, I keept pushing this off and keep saying "One more meal out" or "Just one more pizza". Last week it was - ah I'll wait until I get paid on Friday. Well today is Friday. Gotta start NOW

Are you sucking in in the 2nd pic though? LOL no offense, looks like it
 None taken, no Im not sucking it in. Just standing up straight. Good luck with your journey bro. Hope you achieve your goals. Hardest part at the beginning is letting go of the good food.

Been juicing for about a week and a half as replacement for some of my meals, time for me to amp it up for a bit and try this "juicing diet" out.. thank you for posting up and great job on your progress!

Thanks man and good luck to you. You're already ahead, just start cutting out solids little by little.

So you didn't eat any solid food for the entire month op?
Thats correct. Nothing but juices.

Yeah you need glasses if you can't see the changes bro  you look younger, happier, and I peep the definition coming through in your arms.

Good work OP

Bro.. Way too hard on yourself.

HUGE difference. You're a big guy, so the 30 pounds you lost was probably under the surface, but you can definitely notice a difference. Well on you way. I'd imagine if you keep going then you'll start to look how you imagine. Props again.

Wow thinking on jumping on this. 30 pounds crazy. I'm at 208 and would love to be at 180
You can do it. 180 is my goal and hope to hit it by june.

Guys just remember this isnt some way to lose weight quick. It's a lifestyle change but it will reboot the system. You can't go back to your old habits - and that is the most I'm having trouble with, I'm not overweight, maybe a little bit due to sitting in a cubicle all day + winter, but I know how bad the food I'm putting in my body is - but it's a ******* disease, I'm addicting to eating out. Hell , last night I had ribs, a crab cake, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I ******* loved it. Ate while I binge watched Sons of Anarchy.

Then I felt like **** about 30 minutes later and was just disgusted with myself. I bought the damn juicer and it's been sitting there for 2 weeks. I even ordered a book BenRoethlisberger mentioned but it's just been sitting on my dresser. The hardest part is knowing what you have to do, and that you actually HAVE to do it. djaward progress is really inspiring though, I feel very motivated to wake up tomorrow, hit Whole Foods and start

All of this is correct.

This is not a diet, its a rebooting system to help you clean out all the crap and start fresh. Before this diet, I was eating like a slob. I ate healthy items like steam veggies but preferred the non healthy items like mashed potatoes, french fries or mozzarella sticks.

What made me quit was my weight and looking in the mirror. And then seeing my boys transforming from healthy kids to chubby kids. My boys now look healthy and they feel great. They didnt juice as much as mom and I did but they cut the crap out and drank their juices when we gave it to them.

If there any way I can help, I will. Just ask, please.

Quell, wish you luck my brotha.

One thing I did to get me going was getting rid of all the crap at home. Cookies, chips, processed cereal, ice cream etc. All that stuff was gone. Just get a big trash bag and start dumping. If I had a craving, tough... Theres nothing to kill it but with a healthy juice or water with lemon.

Going out to eat was hard too. I just left my credit cards at home and never carried any extra cash to buy something. Its easier for me at work because they let us eat at our desk so I dont have to leave my job. The less I went downstairs, the better for me. No temptations.
