in the long term of things you should fall back from them and get into 100% raw and natural food not forever but atleast 12 months...

and its a reminder of how manipulative the food companies are...

Morning of day 8. It's the most fresh I've felt in the morning thus far. I've incorporated some raw super foods into my cleanse (chlorella and a super food mix). It's gross stuff, but from the research I've done, the stuff is pretty spectacular. It should enhance the benefits of the fast because it's highly absorbable protein. It's algae though, so it really is disgusting. I'm down 13 pounds and starting to see that in my reflection. I also received a compliment yesterday that I looked tan even though I've been nowhere near the sun. Carrots help with that complexion I've heard. Anyway...going strong..Next milestone is on Saturday morning when I will have completed 10 full days.

Algae though? Where did you get this info? Can y ou explain the taste?

I found out about Chlorella and Spirulina a ways back when I was doing research for a juice fast. One of the sites more than recommended it as a supplement, which side tracked me into researching about them. They seem to be supreme super foods and extremely potent for improving help. Here's a snippet from web md and then a link to one of the many articles on the Chlorella:

Yes of course. Beets is on of the main ingredient in my morning juices. I dont eat them as much because I think they taste like sand but are good for you.

Since Ive started juicing, I dont look in the toilet to see what my deuce looks like. But the feel of it coming out has definitely changed.

joints are super high in IRON... good for the blood so i love them but too much will hurt your liver...

salads are so damn cheap to make its crazy..

carrots/celery with hummus dip...

in the age of nutri bullets, you can make humus... chick peas are your friend!

(off topic: DON'T cook olive oil, it becomes toxic to the body..)

peanuts and mixed nuts as a snack...

homemade salsa on pita chips...

yeah it aint 100% raw but a man has to have some excitement!:smokin
 
just for clarity, im a big dude that used to be obsessed with diet and the gym so i studied alot and ate extra clean..

im tryna get back to that after years of wild woman, long nights, strong drinks and early mornings...8)

my chakra is all jacked up too...

LMAO @ Beets. Yeah I was so scared after going to the bathroom. I thought I was getting sick from my Juice Fast.

I did 3 weeks last year. I'm bout to do a 10 day next week probably. Anyone down for the challenge? I have mad recipes and tips. I've change my diet crazy since doing my first fast, I don't mess with my local supermarkets anymore, I just deal with the extra travel and go to trader joes.

Carrots (for sweetness)
Apple's (for sweetness)
Radish (blood and kidney)
Ginger (for digestive system and migraines)
Cucumber (anti inflammatory full of water)
