that documentary also motivated me to go out and buy a juicer and juice.. i did it heavily late last year for a couple of months and lost a very quick 20 pounds by just replacing breakfast with a juice and watching what i ate for lunch and dinner... I am going to try to go back to doing it consistently as i haven't been doing it too often since the new year..
 
When adding ginger, how do ya'll put it in the shake/juicer? Never used ginger before

Def need ginger, great especially if you are sick. Usually like half an inch. U know the flavor is strong so u dont want to overpower the flavor of the juice

U can prob grab a decent one for like $150 to $200 Try to buy in store or at least see ones u are interested in in person. The wackest part about juicing is the clean up after. Try to find one that wont be a hassle to clean after.

You pop in the blender/juicer and thats it.

TIP- Use about an inch or so per juice. Its very strong and can over power the taste of your juice. You might even ruin your juice if you add too much.

Ive seen people do a shot of Lemon and Ginger. Havent tried it yet but I know that flavor is going to be strong.

Juicers run as low as $100 to as high as you want it to be.

I got a Breville Multi Speed juicer from Macys for about $200. I got this one because its big enough for 2-4 people.

One container gives us about four 12 ounce juices. Just read the feedbacks on every juicers and go from there.

The juicer JOE uses in the documentary is a Breville juicer but a smaller one.

I see this popping up a lot in this thread. To receive the optimum benefits that OP saw and that I'm seeing right now, you'll need a juicer.

Yeah. The difference is essentially in their name though. A blender just chops it all up and mixes together. A juicer strips the produce of its fiber to extract only the liquid held inside the produce, which is what we're referring to.

By stripping the produce of its fiber, the nutrients go directly into the bloodstream and do their work. On top of that, without the fiber, the digestive system rests and therein lies where the "magical" healing lies as the body can now spend most of its energy that is usually directed towards digesting (I learned our bodies spend a crazy amount of energy just to eat then eventually poop), on cleansing and healing.

I only use a Juicer but other have used a blender and or a nutribullet. There might be a difference in taste when using a blender though.

Liquid doo doo? Only have that when I eat something bad. Ive had number 2s that were like SHARTS. Nothing really came out but had gas.

Anyways, Im juicing in the AM and for lunch. I rarely juice for dinner.

I was talking to my wife and told here that it feels weird eating. I dont crave fast food at all and everything around me is fast food. So the only way to stay on track is by making my own meals. I HATE BUYING FOOD FROM RESTAURANTS NOW.

I feel like all of it is bad for you. I mean yeah they have healthy meals but really, how healthy are they? So I rarely eat at work. Ive been eating a lot of Chicken, salads and beans with my juices.
 
Today marks day 10. I was gonna give another update tomorrow morning after the completion of 10 days, but it doesn't really matter.

I feel great! Especially right after I juice. I've lost 15 pounds and that will probably move to 16 by tomorrow. I'm going implement workouts soon, so the next key is to make sure I'm completely hydrated.

Good to hear. Your weight will drop faster once that workout routine kicks in.

I know its a personal question but I must ask, That sex drive, has it changed for you yet?

I feel like Im 21 again. AND I HEARDDDDDDDD, for every 10 pounds you lose, you gain an inch. Heard it from DR. OZ.

So if you need some motivations guys, there it is. 10 Pounds gets you an inch. :D
 
I think its every 25lbs it appears you gained a inch. Becuase of the fat sorrounding it.

Watermelon rind is like that "little blue pill" if you know what I mean..

Add that with radish or spinach or asparagus or anything with high IRON count as well as vitamin C & E, shawty is gonna need her uterus realigned, if you get my drift...
 
Official number after 10 full days of the juice fast is 16 pounds lost. As of right now, the weight loss has leveled to about one pound a day. What I find most fascinating is that I'm still pooping. I feel clean and gross at the same time knowing that I'm getting rid of this stuff in my gut that has been in there for years, possibly.

Next milestone is 15 days. Excited to see where I'll be at after 20 days though.
 
Im on day 7 of replacing 2 meals with a smoothie and eating a lean meal for dinner plus working out 5-6 times a week.

I lost 4lbs. Not as quick as you guys. But im just looking for a long term weight loss. Just being healthy and being more active.
