OFFICIAL JUICING THREAD (NOT THAT TYPE OF JUICING)

nah its pretty much the usual bulk (due to excess fiber) but slides right out
This is incorrect, if you're juicing like the video OP posted, you're drinking juice where the fiber has been removed (depends on the quality of your jucier). It is more like a diarrhea consistency, but its not that uncomfortable surprise of "I'm about to spray in my pants" lol...you just feel like you gotta take a regular dump..
my bad i was thinking about blending where you have pulp and residue left when you drink.

Hmm, thought about doing a clense soon. I just don't feel as good as I used to anymore, plus I need to fix my diet, so backed up. :x When I finally take a dump.

I did the juice fast as well. I lasted 30 days if I remember. The first week was hard because I jump into it. I believe i started off at 210 lb and at the end of the 30 days I was 189 lb. I worked out great but I didn't keep up a great lifestyle. In the end I gained all the weight back and some. So it's best to keep a healthy eating habit afterwords.

Juice cleanses and Sport don't work either, Ask Carmelo Anthony

I know about the benefits of juicing but I can't imagine going a day without solid food.

If your primary goal is weight loss, you may want to change your eating habits. Cutting out soda, fast food, unhealthy snacks, along with minimal exercise to start, will get the ball rolling. Nutritious foods and portion control is key.

It absolutely is one of the most bothersome things to see people just spouting off at the mouth about **** they truly know nothing about and passing it off to others to take as advice.

I understand the intent is coming from a good place, but don't confuse intent and opinion with educated fact.

A lot of bro science and opinion in almost every single post from uneducated people who, like me (until proper education), was never taught what REAL food is, what you should or shouldn't be eating and why.

ABSOLUTELY do a juice cleanse (use the nutribullet blender or any blender instead of the juicer), OP. I encourage it. I also encourage you keep going after it's all said and done. Because what's the point of cleansing your body if you're just going to go back to poisoning it with the standard American diet? Just to say you did it?

I studied at Cal and majored in nutritional science as well as health and wellness and I can give you all the information you need and I'll answer all the questions you have the best way I can. Just PM me and I'll gladly help you out.

That goes for anyone else who is interested in their own food revolution, if you will.

I also would like to apologize if I came off as rude or judgemental. Not my intent at all!

lol dudes tryna live forever in this piece.
Ima be eating "dirty" all my life homie ribs and beer and all that.
Enjoy being 90yrs old outliving all your friends and loved ones cause you ate kale broth all day

Please enlighten me on whats "fact" in the food eating world. They had the food pyramid all those years as a recommendation not the end all be all of health and nutrition.
Its simple, if you want to be more healthy eat crap thats gonna get you healthy, if you don't care, eat what you want!

I'm so tired of all the fat shaming from people who don't want to be fat, if thats you GOOD! Stay that way but its like Religion, if anyone wants to know how/why you look/eat the way you do, don't worry they'll ask you, we don't need your preaching. Not all fat people want to be healthy!!

Not to respond and sound rude and condescending but 1 how do you know that the people responding are uneducated and 2 you didn't exactly give us any educated facts about anything. I graduated with a degree in exercise sports science with a minor in fitness and nutrition. Am in grad school to become an athletic trainer. Hit me with some facts broseph haha

but everyone hates the idea of SOYLENT?

and imo, this is more than "Juicing", it's raw foods. nothing is cooked.

this would most likely happen if you ate raw foods in solid form as well, it's just that DON"T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT!

Wasn't coming in here to drop knowledge with a 500 page essay. Exactly why I offered me services via private message.

And to the other poster who can't wait to be 45 barely alive; no, it is not like religion. It's actually quite the opposite because it's based off of scientifical fact and quite frankly, common sense but based off your response you aren't interested in that at all. No one is being preachy, at all. This thread is clearly about a man who wants to make a change in his life in regards to nutrition, so naturally I would post about making a lifestyle change about nutrition, right? I didn't show up at the mcdonalds you're posting from and smack the cancer burger out your hand, right? If you feel attacked by my post then I guess that says more about you and your own struggles with desire and temptation because you clearly felt singled out enough to respond in a defensive way. Anyhow, enjoy yourself, your life is going to be a fun ride with that irrational thought process, mate!

OP i read what you put into your drinks after the first day and noticed that it was basically fruits and vegetables. the thing is that if you did this for 30 days without eating anything besides fruits and vegetables you will be depriving your body of complete proteins. vegetables contain incomplete proteins which need to be combined with other foods to have the 9 essential amino acids that we need in order to survive. i'd suggest you read this article before continuing and look into adding beans/grains/nuts into your diet as well since protein is very important to our body

You actually don't need as much protein in your daily intake as once thought.

However, I do think you should go on amazon and buy a 3 pound bag of organic hemp protein. One scoop a day is all you'll need.

i'm not saying that he needs a lot but i am saying that he will get NO complete proteins if he continues to do this

I'll have to post a pic and what is in the smoothie I'll be having every morning.

Hemp protein is included.

Tell you what though, adding some coconut oil to the smoothie to todays made it 10000000000x better than the one I had yesterday.  That joint was foul.

It's a struggle to make the switch for most, but you can definitely retrain and reprogram your entire way of thinking about food and life in general and it will get incredibly easy.

I'm glad to help, bro. This is my passion so anytime I see people trying to change I'm always willing to jump in and give that extra push to get through the initial resistance phase. I'll shoot out my number to you via pm if you'd like any tips, guidance or anything man.

Good luck on your journey!

I always love when fools think they can read a person from a post, lol nice try Jack Lalane. I asked you what are some of the facts, you didnt want to go in on a 500 page essay... I get that, cool.
Naw, didnt feel personally attacked at all, im just tired of people like you who think they know exactly how people should eat in America. You and people like you aren't the judge and jury on how people "should" eat, here we have a choice...if one wants to eat a cancer burger from McDs what's it to you? (dont give me the obesity in america effects all of us bs cause there's plenty of other money sucking problems we have here that you pay taxes for)

And since you took things personal by talking about my life, yeah it is fun with my rational thought process but im not sure how much fun yours is dissecting each and every calorie and carb you put down your self absorbed mouth lol.

Your body does need complete proteins, that is true. The most complete proteins come from algae. Since you aren't eating food, I recommend that you go on amazon and order yourself some spirulina and chlorella supplements.

Also, if taste becomes a huge deal for you, buy some 100% organic orange juice and use that in your juice instead of water. We also need healthy fats to absorb all the nutrients from the plants and fruits, so a spoon full of coconut oil every shake will do just that. Good luck, man! Discipline is something not taught in western culture and if you can get through this everything else in your life will be easier to overcome as well!

My Smoothie:

Blueberry's

Couple slices of Pineapple

Almond milk

Coconut oil

Hemp protein powder

Chia seeds

Walnuts

Tastes really good... Only thing that sucks is the chia seeds getting stuck in your teeth.  Mostly a coconut flavor.
