Moving to GA (Braselton Area)

I plan on accepting a job offer in GA next week, but before I do.. I'd like to know what are some good areas to look at? I was thinking Buford since it would be 30min from the office and 30min from Atlanta.. I don't want to live in a rough area, I could care less about the sneaker spots.. I just want an area where I wouldn't have to worry about crime with the potential of meeting women/new friends!

buford is a nice area with low crime. gwinnett county for the most part is safe. for women and new friends i would say buckhead bars and the lounges around peachtree st
 
I don't know if you're getting a house or Apt, but Acworth,Alpharetta,and some parts of Smyrna and Marietta are cool,Duluth is nice.
