a couple of used pairs I've seen have spots on the nubuck towards the back where it looks like the shoes rubbed against each other. not feeling that at all

I agree with the high praises of the Baron 1s. I loved this shoe at release and still love it now. I recently took a cross country bus trip to the Million Man March and my Baron 1s were the only athletic shoe that came along for my week long trip. Switching buses, standing up waiting at terminals, getting stepped from time to time, walking in the filthiest rest rooms known to man and my Barons held up strong. They were comfortable enough to keep on for an continous 45 hour interval without any swelling or discomfort. neutral enough to go with everything. stylish enough to look good with my dad jeans. Very easy to clean after an active day of pavement beating.  I got tons of compliments for them especially the 3M laces. The people that were into sneakers that complimented on my Barons said more than often this was a release they regret passing up. Baron 1s my favorite Jordan 1. Im taking these on my next trip

Help! do these run true to size? I have quite wide feet, gonna be my first pair of 1s so kind of a stab in the dark. I heard that some 1s run half a size big depending on the padding etc so was wondering what the barons were like. Thanks!

You can go up a half to a whole size of your feet are "quite wide" in my opinion. TTS would probably hurt the side of of your feet. I do not have wide feet though, so hopefully someone else will chime in with the same situation as you.
