12/2014 Air Jordan 11 Retro - White/Black-Legend Blue - 378037-117 NO GM TALK ALLOWED!

I already know. I live in the DMV area and if I remember correctly a pair of Foams were released and they went HAM. Breaking the doors, trying to get in thru the roof. If you're really "bout that life" pay the extra money for the presale because if you don't all that extra is going to make these the most expensive sneakers you'll never get to wear. You'll be in jail. I'll do a raffle but I'm not camping out. I work M-F 730-430 and my schedule and sanity won't let me camp out. Not knocking anyone else but I'm not about the camp out life.A youngin was robbed for his Infareds at the metro. I'm fully aware of the chaos that's about to take place. Unfortunately I'm not surprised.

Dude I live in NW DC, that robbing/stabbing happened in the morning near my girls place in Shaw (which isnt even that bad of a neighborhood anymore). I hope police are out in full force Saturday to prevent robberies/murders.

They should be. None of this is new to them. Overtime for all them cause its going to be needed. They might as well get ready cause those that keep their on ice for the summer will face the same thing once they decide to wear them. And you know like I know what DC summers can be like.....

man no body going to get shot yall dudes funny as hell
um...14 year old kid did get stabbed in the back for them black/infrared 6s just a week or so ago, THEN the kid preceeded to chase the two thieves into the subway where he was noticed bleeding everywhere and taken to the hospital by a policeman. Guess the thieves got away with the boys shoes. Which if anybody deserved a pair of them if was that 14 year old kid. True story.

Not even attempting to cop the shoe but i hop everyone gets a pair safely. Its crazy how shoes and i mean just shoes can turn people into militants and doing anything necessary. If its that bad i rather just try online or go to a reseller. Esp being in the dmv people dont know how to act its sad and pathetic and we are all better than this.

It's your mindset that is corrupted. Please don't be offended but listen to what you're saying. If everyone got 1 raffle ticket as should we all would have the same chance at obtaining our shoes ( without factoring in the corrupt employees ). But when one or more people obtain multiple tickets they've rigged the raffle in their favor. Only greed would drive you to do this. If the people with multiple winning tickets sell their shoes they most likely sell for over retail but even if they don't who would they sell retail to? The answer is family and friends. So either way you look at it they're just as bad as the corrupt employees. On another note if you look at the people who win multiple pairs that never claim their pairs, they create the lurkers who are waiting in a dangerous game on Saturday morning or the store employee holds that pair for resale. So either way you look at it my friend it pays to have a little common courtesy
Ok your post lacks logic

I agree, they're all isolated incidences, they just get alot of media pub and blown up for whatever reason. Blame the networks. They're the ones who decides what makes the news.

Right and a little kid walking home from school had his KDs taken off his feet and he walked home in the snow with just his socks on.

They can be and then they can't be. My family has been in the area for 13 years. I've seen and heard alot.
Believe me i know i lived in the dmv all my life and went to Howard when it was not gentrified. The thing is getting shoes wasnt the hardest part, it was keeping your jacket.

I feel you, I was born in NY and I know all about it. Someone attempted to steal my brothers Triple Fat Goose as he returned home from corner store.  The only thing that saved him was the robber didn't like the color but he stopped him and approached him about it anyway. We left NY in '91 cause it was starting to get too crazy on our block in the Bronx. Fully aware of the chaotic ways of the world.

hahaha. people thinkin about using fake id's now? XI bring out the low of the lows.

DMP i remember that well. camp out at hilltop mall in Richmond Ca with my cuzin and a buddy. was able to cop 2 pack. well worth it.

Quick story. At 1am this morning, I drove 2hrs out of town to a neighboring city to try and get guaranteed tickets. Finishline was giving them out at 7, we were to line up at 6am. There was a turn out of 600 people for less than 200 shoes. The police formed a crappy line. Everybody started pushing and the cops let loose with the mace. It was a stampede and I felt like Simba. I hit the deck and nearly vomited. My face was on fire and my lips were numb. This one chick actually was vomiting. I get a footprint on my hat from getting my head stepped on. I cover up my face and jump back in line. Cops let off again and started macing. I try to run and fall off the curb and twist my ankle. They ended up closing down the event altogether and made everybody leave.

About 100 of us were smart enough to understand they just wanted to thin out the large crowd so we waited. Cops let us line up again. I was like #6. Got pushed back to about #45:smh: . Long story short, I got my guaranteed ticket for a size 12.

Absolute madness...
Damn...It's ugly out here. You're a soldier.

I'm ready for the fake stories about someone getting clapped for the Legend Blue 11s

WTF is wrong with you.  Sure there are fake stories, but there's also real ish happening to folks for shoes.  It happens every year, and although I hope it doesn't this time around, sadly it most likely will.  Nothing funny about that

People are already fighting over RAFFLE tickets so violence this weekend is inevitable, unfortunately. Nike should probably create online raffles for these shoes and have them delivered.

Man, people do the craziest crap for sneakers.  I remember when I went to pick up my LeBron Champ pack at Niketown Chicago, and the guy infront of us took a redeye flight in from Oregon to pick his up.

Serious passion and dedication is one thing, but getting maced, stabbed or shot is a whole different realm.

In the end, was it really worth it?

Like I said earlier in this thread.  Nobody wants to turn on the news and see a report that will go something like this - '300 people lined up earlier today like civilized humans, to purchase their Jordans.  Back to you in the studio Sarah'

I waited 45 minutes for my guaranteed ticket with no drama. Some stores and some folks are still decent and can maintain control of their behavior.
