You heard reloaded?Big Krit, Freddie Gibbs, and ROC Marciano. Heard of Marciano way back, but have never checked out his solo stuff til like Greenberg and Marcberg. Took a flier on Krit after noticing his name attached to David Banner stuff, and some hating dude in a XXL comment section saying "this ***** sound like a fake *** Pimp C" . Kinda randomly listened to Gibbs after seeing his name attached to people I was already listening to. All 3 are artists I've enjoyed listening to more post-2009 than anybody else.
Special mention to Action Bronson and SpaceGhostPurp. Thank you NT
what'd you think of the Melody's Echo Chamber album?
Over the Horizon Radar might be the best minute and 9 seconds in the history of music.
Off top...
Crystal Castles (hands down 3 flawless albums (R.I.P)
Blu and Exile (when i first heard it back then, Below the Heavens made me realize hip-hop still has hope)
Kelela (Cut 4 Me is classic)
Grimes
Vondelpark
Tame Impala
Pond
Nicholas Albrook
Washed Out
toro y moi-causers of this..
the greatest love album of all time, IMO, of course.
