V.2014 ITS BALLING SEASON AGAIN.....TAXES!!! Where you doing yours?

i go to my usual tax guy, its very well known and popular
but anyways
How do i avoid getting a return?
I contribute about 15-16k into my 403b annually, which i understand lowers my taxable income...
i also have a son and file my baby mother at a dependent also
i also file as head of household...
what should i do to avoid giving the government my funds tax free for a year??
thanks

You have to look at the we and check off what applies to you. But from what you told let's see

You can claim 6 actually since you make your 401k thing you proably can get away with 8 yep 8 on your w4. Ask your job to change it

If you plan to do the same thing this year then change your exemptions to about 7.

Here is the irs w4calculator

Right now for me for every $1000 they take out $40 fed taxes. I claim 5.

Who does not have health insurance ?

unless your poor pay up !

uninsured FINE guidelines

Your=single

Household = married or you live at home with parents.

2014.... 1% of your/household income or $95 per person  what ever is greater

2015....2% of your/household income or $325 per person  ****

2016....2.5% of your/household income or $695 per person ****

some call it extortion, communism, socialism, and others call it the "affordable care act"

say I get an average of 3k in my refund as claiming zero. would I get more in a total amout in my bi-weekly checks claiming more than zero if you were to add it up for the whole year? if that makes any sense?

Exactly. . Yes you would get more per paycheck. Less fed tax taken put but you will get less be kept tax time.

You must make about 33k a year

I'm totally clueless on this tax return thing. I'm bouta just pay a big company to do it so I get all my money back.

just filed my taxes getting about $67 back.

I claim 2....i want my pay checks as big as possible...rather owe then get back...free loan for the gov't...no thanks

I live in a apartment (rented) with my sister and girlfriend. I don't claim them, but I do pay the lions share of the bills.

Should I file as head of household?

When I filled out my W-4 I claimed 0, because it's just me and before taxes I make 52,500

Did you even read the w4 form? You can claim up to 2 maybe even 3. You will get less back though buy more on your paycheck

For people who have kids and stuff and get most of their taxes back anyway you can claim exempt and they will not take out any tax fed tax. It says it on the form especially for college kids who claim the credits.

my returns got jacked once for student loans...

the look on my face when she told me the government took every cent.

Right but how can I can claim 2 or 3 people if it's just me? If I already end up randomly owing with 0 dependents, doesn't that mean that if i claim 2 or 3 dependents that I would end up owing more money
