Right now, Durant is basically better than Lebron in most statistical categories
The only stat that Lebron has a advantage is assists but realistically who is Durant going to pass to?

He's clearly the best this season and it's not even close, but to take over the "best player in the game" title you have to prove it in the playoffs. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of this year he takes the mantle.
