New Jordan 14 Colorway - Black Vibrant Yellow 7/4/14 release date

Do retro's even go on sale anymore? I want some laney 1s and for some reason they are still original price. And If I'm not mistaken they have been out since November. What's going on.

Not retro's ... I don't even think the Phoenix 8 or bugs 8 went on sale and they were available for a month or so
 
maybe with a steelers, penguins, or pirates jersey? but not feelin this color at all. i guessing these will make it to the nike outlets for sure. Just give me some red and whites 14
 
I checked these out today, the first thing I noticed was the bad paint job. The shoe overall was not bad but that paint job :x
 
nice pics. making these very tempting. hopefully they sit around long enough to use some type of 20% off code somewhere.

I feel you. many pics in this thread alone show horrible paint jobs. makes me question the whole "remastered" ******** even more since they claim to have been using more and more of their highest skilled workers since last year.... it's all a load of crap but all they had to do was throw out the word remastered and folks are anticipating it and praising it allover already, many idiots selling off their pairs already on youtube thinking they won't be worth anything when the "remastereds" start dropping

I'm actually contemplating buying some laney 1s...dope cw and the material is nice
 
The suede is a plus. The paint job is super bad. My old man looked at them and laughed. They look like Payless on the yellow.
 
I'm not usually one to complain about the quality (or lack thereof) from JB, but yeah.. the paint on mine is pretty bad too. :\

I think the paintjob isn't that bad on every pair. I saw them in person yesterday in a local Footlocker and I must say this colorway is actually quite good.
I just don't feel to spend 170 bucks on them as I simply cannot buy too many shoes within a year.
But I would definitely wear these.

Do you just paint over the Yellow.. or Strip the yellow off completely and reapply Red all on it's own?

stripping the paint off is the way to go...however painting over it will cover the yellow but it doesn't look good imo...and i own a few pairs of customs and each one was done by stripping the paint first before changing colors
