Do any of you guys shop at any boutique stores in the DMV area?  I mean I've been to Commonwealth and Major for shoes but are there any other stores anyone might suggest?  Maybe it's just me but I feel like this area lacks it in general.  Much appreciated.

I agree, really feels like there's not many boutiques in this area.

Finally got around to checking out both spots today (District Heights and Largo) dope spot and knowledgeable friendly staff.

even in baltimore there aren't many since gentai closed. there is a new shop in bmore called for rent and they focus on some of the more independent brands (think gourmet and nat-2). they are my new favorite though since they have dope events all the time. check out their game on IG @forrentshoes or  www.forrentshoes.com

So 'ftwrk', 'Limited Edition', 'Hospitality', and 'Henry' are back from 5 years ago, er?

In this economy?

Interesting.................................................

forgot all about those stores.

business seems to be ok....

monument is probably the nicest store ive seen period from atl to nyc...

as for the dmv...they can rival commonwealth/cream/creme with the right focus

for rent in bmore just celebrated their 1 yr anniversary and are really uping their game. they got some dope new stuff from a brand in germany. This show is 3d texture on 3m. it's sick in person. check them out on cathedral street in bmore, not too far from where gentai used to be

Wavy is not what I'd call a boutique - it's a resale shop. DS and used.

Monument, which I just checked out, I would call a boutique. Just think they have poor focus right now, product wise. Kind of all over and not very good stuff. Spot is great, just need some clarity of vision for product.

where would you go in DC area, if anywhere, if you were trying to just sell some of the kicks in your collection? is there any shop in DC metro area that you can take some of your kicks in with you and they'll make offers on your kicks? thx

Wavy Kickz is wack as hell.. selection is weak and staff seems pretty lame too. Round Two is where it's at for consignment stuff.

Monument is definitely cool, best of luck to them.
