Hey guys we are starting IVF! Trying to join the NT Dads club

Good luck, Steezy. I know I Photoshop the hell out of you, but you're a good dude and good sport. I hope for good news on Wednesday!
 
Crazy that this pops up. My sister just had her first child through IVF last week. She tried for two years so I know how up and down things can go. Seen her cry a lot but I am glad she finally has become a mother!

praying for you steeze and mos def will follow the blog, dont have a little one thats biologically mine but i love my step son just the same there's no difference, you're gunna be a great dad soon brother!
 
It's a negative bruhs :frown:

We took an early P test on Sunday which came out negative, again on Monday and the same thing, today we did the blood test and it confirmed it...we are devastated, but we have each other...I know NT is usually the "Ma'am Haters Club" but when that time comes and some of you guys wanna settle down I hope YA find a good woman, I tend to think I'm the Rock of our relationship, but seeing how emotionally strong she became, made the negative result easier...made me want to bust my *** even harder to put together the cost of a second try, those of you with no fertility issues, you guys are blessed...what I would give man....thanks for the ongoing support NT famb...I'll continue to keep you guys posted
 
Sorry to hear bout the set back bro. Its great that you are continuing to learn more about your wife through all this
and even though tough emotionally, is bringing you closer together. I'll still be praying for you guys on your journey to parenthood.

its cool that you're trying to keep people updated but man this is personal and private as hell..

you dont have to tell people all the bad news fam, just learn to deal with it on your own and discuss it privately.

you should've just done this without announcing it to the world, i think that just adds another element of stress IMO..

i get that you have to post that you did this and wore that outfit or else there would be no way to know it really happened..

but i wish you the best and i hope you guys pull thru this hardship, you'll know when the time is right fam.

it usually happens when you've given it all your might and are just ready to throw the towel in unfortunately.

i wish you nothing but the best, no hate here.

you seem to be a very positive dude, this is going to make yall stronger.

NT isn't a place of stress it's a place to relieve stress so you don't feel alone

but yeah Steezy things will work out and when it's time to have Steezy Jr it'll happen ! Best of luck bro

Thanks fellas, the whole sharing things like this is subjective to each person, it's either part of your personality or it isn't and that's perfectly fine...I find relief in being open about it, I've actually met other people online going through the same challenges as we have, couples whom have tried multiple times and some I've actually gotten to witness their success because just like myself they decided to be open about it...that right there gives me hope...visual hope...keeping YA in the loop brings nothing negative no matter what, at the very least is an outlet to express my frustration and share my victory with when the time comes.
 
Of the 3 couples that I've known that have done IVF, 1 baby was born a few months ago and 2 little ones are on the way... For my wife and I, we lost a pregnancy due to complications, it was devastating. As soon as we got the green light from the doctor to try again, we tried again, and we now have a beautiful baby girl... The time will come dude, stay positive

I feel the same way..When my ex-wife and I had 2 failed IVF procedures I had nobody to talk/vent to..I really wish I would have cause it would have done a world of good for me..It's hard to be strong for that other person when you have some many negative feelings swirling around in your heart..NT is here for you any time you need us..Be strong for her and that'll help you deal with the heart break..Don't give up cause I know it'll happen for you two..God bless..

Me and my girl tryna have a baby
She just did some test where they go in and look at her overages or something
They spray like this dye or something in there
My sperm count is next
I have 2 other kids from a pervious relationship so not sure if it's me or what
My kids are 7 and 8
We been together since my kids were 1 and 2
And even though she has raised them with me and they consider her mom
And she's been there for everything very single first
From first tooth
To first day of school
She wants a baby of her own
Hopefully everything works out for both of us
Any names picked out or ideas???

Yes man! Good luck to us both!...sounds like you should be ok if you already have 2 kids, might be something off with her, yeah those fluid ultrasounds suck...is a painful process for her bro, keep up the good spirits
