i thought it was a 30k car til someone told me it was $60k

dumbest thing ive ever heard or see. its a decent car but it will be a flop for Kia.

sure people have money but who the hell is spending 60k on a Kia?.....

It's a nice car, but to be honest, I wouldn't spend 60K on any car--traditional luxuries included.

...

$60K with nothing that sets it apart from any other luxury sedan.

I hate the Genesis, but I'd cop one way before I'd even consider this car.

I thought it was dope, and still think it is but not for that price. I was thinking 35-40k, for 60k you might as well just get a luxury car. No disrespect to KIA they are doing nice things but that isn't justified.

Kia is is based in Seoul, South Korea and owned by its parent company Hyundai

No thank you not for 60k. I would lease it thought. Price should be about 30k

They are trying to break the upscale department

Doesn't look like a $60k vehicle, especially considering it's a kia. Hell, maserati has a car in that price range now.
Kia GT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
They should stop playing and release it.

i think one thing they should have done is make a better name with a nice emblem, the same way Hyundai made "Genesis" like a subsidiary brand, their more upscale department and even had it's own logo. People look at it and do not identify Hyundai from the get go.

Price is steep considering the Genesis Sedan starts at $35k and the V8 starts at $47k and they they really should have positioned it below it too.

exactly, Kia is a good car company. They have def stepped up quality and design and lo key the Optima is a damn nice looking car

but there is no reason for them to be making a car this expensive, it makes no sense.

Agree. Never in my life would I expect to see a $60k car made by Kia , hopefully they didnt make too much of them

That interior (minus that ugly steering wheel) is dope as hell.

My guess is Kia knows what they are doing and if they sell a few thousands, which is probably just how much they are going to make, then i think they'll be content.
