Whats up with fat people drinking diet soda?

I drink 1 or 2 sodas a day cokes only.

I weigh 160, a couple of days ago I didn't drink any and I started having terrible headaches and also crazy nosebleeds, I didn't drink soda for 3 days and for those days these symptoms occured.

Also the natural flavors mentioned in products that don't have to be labeled are usually something repulsive

Someone tell me why I should switch to regular soda. Weight isn't an issue, but I'm honestly somewhat worried about that aspartame stuff now...

I don't drink soda at all. But it is not cause I'm health conscious (I eat fast food from 7-11) its cause carbonated beverages kind of burn my mouth and coke leaves this wired feeling coating all over my teeth.

 Soda, especially dark soda, is unhealthy as hell.

Why in 2014 ppl are still downing a 2 liter a day is beyond me. Lets not even go into what that's doing to your teeth.

lo and behold, a stevia version appears

Those are all diet soda's, but those cans in particular can only be found in Europe.

I'm almost certain the name "Diet Coke" is trademarked and used only in the western hemisphere as well.

you right. europe has coke light

that stevia coke is def a niche product though because it has an acquired taste and costs much more to make.

If they made caffeinated water I would be all over that

They do,it's called Water Joe,good stuff if you're trying to quite soda but need the caffeine fix...I quite soda for like 4 months and got crazy headaches until I started drinking it :smh: dat caffeine addiction...

Uhhhhhhh NO.

First of all, while it is true that it can become a type of formaldehyde, aspartame is broken down extremely fast in the body and more often than not it becomes formic acid which is excreted from the body faster then it is formed. Second, that video cites studies that were performed on rats who were fed aspartame constantly and massively disproportionate to their body mass so obviously they are going to have an adverse reaction. He even says in the video that the FDA reviewed the studies and found them to be inaccurate. Thirdly, if you see the safe intake of aspartame for the US it is at 50 mg/kg so an average person weighing 200 lbs(approx 90 kg) could intake up to 4500 mg of aspartame per day and not cause harmful long term side effects. That would be about 90 cans(!!!) of coke zero per day before you start doing damage to yourself.

So have no fear all you diet drinkers, you are good to go with your 1-2 cans a day although I would argue that drinking diet soda is just going to make you compensate that calorie saving by eating something else in place of the regular soda.

:pimp:

Most of them drink it so they can tell themselves they are doing enough but won't move their *** to workout.

I usually don't like to judge. But I saw a commercial of a new TV show called "My 600lb Life" :smh: Why let yourself to that point, THEN decide to make a change?

well from my personal experience either you have something going on in your life and eat to ignore it, develop a trend of eating and don't have the willpower to change that lifestyle or are lazy as hell. I'm a combo of 2-3, I developed the habit of eating Od but don't really have the desire to change it. I wish I did because my back hurts everyday, knees feel a little weak and everything

Consider me naive, but there are people out there drinking 2 ******* liters a day? Damn

fat people tend to have short term satisfaction. this is why they eat yummy stuff but dont think long term. goes for decisions too. they go oh look diet...must be good. laziness. like going half assed is better than nothing.

Diet Lipton Green Tea>

As for the question, I guess it's better than them adding another 200-300 cals to their meal? Idk

The **** you talking about ordering bad food but drinking diet soda.

That's a whole another cheeseburger you can eat guilt free that day because you aren't consuming those calories through soda.
