16 Personalities...

Man ive noticed alot of nt'ers are the same.
I was actually thinking about this. Are people on internet forums generally more introverted? I want to say so, while it is a form of communication it's not face to face.

Forming around 3% of the population, ENTJ personalities are very charismatic, rational and quick-minded. They are meant to lead and inspire other people and there is no other type that can do this with such ease. According to ENTJs, nothing is impossible if you try hard enough. Naturally, they rarely have difficulties convincing other people that the goal chosen by the ENTJ should also become one of their personal goals.

These leadership traits form the core of the ENTJ personality type. ENTJs can be unbelievably confident and charismatic – these qualities draw most other types like a magnet and this makes it quite easy for an ENTJ to achieve what they want to achieve. People belonging to this type love challenges, big and small, and firmly believe that they can accomplish everything given enough time and resources. More often than not, this confidence results in a self-fulfilling prophecy – where other types give up and move on to the next project, the ENTJ ploughs ahead and usually achieves spectacular results simply because of that sheer willpower.

Sounds like me

INTJ as well, but I take no stock in these things as the results differ every time i take it over the years. Plus if we're only 2% of the US population, you're telling me a huge chunk of that are on NT?

The theory some intjs(and other types as well) have formed is because of how introverted many of them are, they're drawn to places like internet forums. Because of this, they are in turn "over" represented on them.

I do have some caveats with the online mbti tests and I do believe its easy to be mistyped. You have to get a better understanding of the percentages, dichotomies, and the personality types similar to yours(intj and intp as an example) to really be sure. For me it has been a very useful tool but I've never actually been correctly typed by any of the mbti tests I've taken. I've always been typed as an INTJ.

I think the best telling fact is post count x date of when they joined..plus just reading their posts in certain threads.

For ex. Some dudes in TAY or TAN, you can easily tell are introverts

Glancing over the questions, the problem with personality tests like this is that often people answer based on what they want themselves to be or how they want to view themselves. It would be interesting to see if there are any differences if someone close to you picks the answers vs. you picking the answers yourself.
