Saw this pic on IG today. New Romaleos 3(?) samples. Probably 99% of people here won't care.

Love my Romaleos 2, but they're heavy. These look a lot lighter.

New product ID: 437128

Is that hyperfuse? Nah B, I not gonna drop $200 on a pair if there is an increase chance of them ripping.

I don't mind the weight on the current ones

That's what I'm thinking. I wouldn't even pay more than $160 for the 2s.

Which insoles you use?

these look much lighter but the older ones are gonna last forever with how much i use and take care of them. i dont see myself getting a new pair of romaleos for like a couple years haha

I really want a volt pair of the 2s but can't justify $150+ on them. I wish I could use my Nike gift cards on them but they don't even sell them through a Nike storefront or NDC...

You guys really think that they would rip that easily?  I think they would hold up pretty well honestly.

I have always loved the Romaleos but have never pulled the trigger on them.  Now if the 2's were available through Swoosh...

Hard for squats, soft for everything else. But I lost both my pairs :smh:

And to me of they are an investment, buying them is that I beating them up for 4 years (since they came out every Olympics I think) then buy a new pair. Only shoe I every got that much use outta were black/black Foam Pros in the early 2000s.

I don't trust Hyperfuse to last 4 years of heavy use.

And I don't trust Nike, after seeing what they did with high end BB shoes and cleats, something tells me this is more about profit margins than performance. I wait and see, then maybe if the reviews are good I'll cop in 2016

That's probably why I think they're heavy, I use the competition insoles all the time for all of my Olympic lifts, and I've got the AdiPower weightlifting shoes too, which are really light compared to even the regular insoles in the Nikes.

And yeah, I don't trust hyperfuse to last 4 years either, at least not at 2+ hours a day, 5 days a week.

Got the competition insoles in mine, ******g love these shoes. Nailed a 405x3 front squat in 'em just a few days ago.

My squats are getting up to the point that a proper weightlifting shoe is necessary, I'm going to invest in some of these.  Should I just go for a pair of romaleo 2s (thinkin black, white, or volt), or hold off and wait for the 3? Does anyone know the release date of the 3s? thx

PS-fit wise how do the 2s run? TTS?  Im usually a 12.5

A few websites confirmed that these were just a new colour way of the 2's. Yes these fit true to size. I'm a 9.5 foot and got 10 in the Ramaleos and they fit great. A bit narrow for my foot though so I get cramps when I wear them for too long.

@jordanm I think  you may be confusing the latest color way of the 2's for these prototypes.

I think so too. I found a few lifters on Instagram that have been using this same colour way as the prototype. Either way I'm ******* psyched if the Romeleos 3 are to drop soon.

Wow, didn't even know these existed. Wasn't feeling Reebok's take on them, will definitely look them up.

Anyone know how long the Romaleo 2 laces are? I want to replace them with a shorter pair.

Does anyone know where I can the newest version of the Romaleos?  Is it the 3 or are they still on the 2?

Lots of new pictures are floating out there of the Romaleo 3s.

I like the look of them but if the 3s coming out mean a chance of the 2s going on sale at all
Then I'd still def just grab a pair of 2s.
