In New Orleans, alligators are king of the bayou. In remembrance of another king’s first pair of Nike’s, Nike Sportswear combines the elevated silhouette of the Flystepper and adds the signature perforated quarter panels of the Zoom 2K3. Featuring faux-alligator strap enclosures, the real tribute to the tough skin of Alligator Mississippiensis takes the form of a raised synthetic covering the toe.

I can't wait to get these next week. Already put in an order with a friend...like as soon as those hit the store.
 
might have cop these instead not the allstarkobe 9s,  it may sound crazy to some but these look way better for casual appeal.

Interesting how these don't have laces. Wonder how secure my foot will be.

These would be great to go out for bars and lounges. Probably gonna sharpie out the nike logo too.

my thoughts too, I wonder if they have elastic bands securing the tongue...the top strap unstrapped might look good too

looks like supra shoes to me , easy pass then even if nike put super limited tag on it
 
Thank god these are going under the radar, this is like Nike's attempt at a high-end sneaker.
