Same with me. I have mine up in CL as a trade bait for Solars, and turned down offers as low as 1.5k lmao, and as high as 3.7k. I like these shoes and dont mind holding on to them forever unless somebody offers me a ridicolous amount of moolah.

It's quite simple, like most limited shoes Nike releases these days, the majority of the people are buying to resell. It is what it is. Ask for more than what your willing to give up. The vicious cycle continues.

Either you really bought a real pair or you stole someone's conformation pic and ps'ed it to make it seem like your pair that you got before release date is authentic from ndc :smh:
 
You know what bothers me? A liar. I never understood the point of lying (whether in person or online) to try and make your life appear better than it actually is.

There is a member on here who is worshipped by some. His name is Sami. He doesn't post in here. He used to post in the previous thread.

I'm not going to go too much into details but you know I'm capable of it. I'll keep this to just this one troll job. Does everyone remember back a few months ago? (Late November / Early December)... Sami had been posting in the previous thread fresh off a "business meeting" with Kanye West regarding a deal for a RL x KW clothing line.

For all I know the deal could be real. Did they send Sami to seal the deal in San Francisco? :lol: highly unlikely. But we, including myself, believed it.

Let's fast forward. He gets Red Octobers before anyone else outside of Kanye, Kim, and @feng33333 from IG. He tells us these were a gift from Kanye West to his "friends and family" for closing the "Ralph deal"... We, for the most part, accept this as fact.

He proceeds to tell us that the company that was handling the F+F pairs had contacted all of the friends and family who received a pair and told them not to wear them because Kanye was signing with Adidas... Great way to explain why nobody in Kanye's crew was posting a pic of them or had been seen wearing them :lol: (my favorite parts coming up).

Makes sense. *Nike gives Kanye's people a bunch of RO's to distribute to close friends and family*.. Why would we have reason to doubt him? After all he was at Kanye's proposal to Kim in San Francisco :rofl: (worst part is I'm so dumb and believe every word of this crap :x -- he's texting me and I'm eating it up).

Anyway let's fast forward some more... He does a giveaway through some podcast. I didn't do it but I believe you needed to follow him and his buddy on IG and listen to this podcast. The giveaway was for his F+F pair he picks a listener and sends them a pair AFTER HE ALREADY VOUCHED HE WOULD WEAR HIS PAIR UNTIL THEY WERE "BEAT". This was just one of several giveaways. Check the backlash with the superbowl tix giveaway.

It was a lop-sided pair if anyone remembers. Horrible quality issues (check SN feature). No doubt in my mind at this point these were just replicas and here is my evidence::

Kendall, Kyliee, IBN, Don C, Virgil, Scott Disick, Jonathan Cheban, etc... All surface in the last week thanking Kanye and Kim for their pair of RO's. So let me clear this up for you - Sami is considered an extremely close friend of Kanye's. So close that he got his F+F pair just a few weeks after Kanye and Kim received their own. :lol: :lol: :lol: and then Kanye could only get so many pairs (obviously SamsterSystem would be a top priority) that the for the rest of his ACTUAL friends and family he needed to resort to resale in the after-market LOL.

Virgil who is credited in designing the shoe. His initial are under the insole VA... Doesn't receive his pair from Nike ahead of time. Damn :x my man needs to get on the system.

If you want laughs go back and read the last YZY thread before the posts somehow disappear. There are so many priceless posts. I mean this doesn't even scratch the surface to the bs you'll see.

@the one mike gets credit as well as Alp for being ahead of most in seeing through the BS that is #TheSystem

Apologies for going off topic but there's nothing more pathetic than the people who do this for e-props and e-followers I can't wait for him to read this and either text me angrily or block me. But hey!

at the end of the day, we just don't know what motivates people to do what they do. ive been on NT long enough to see some amazing personalities and stories. the good stuff and the bad stuff. the sami story doesn't surprise me one bit.

I'm not scorned. Just because I typed longer than I intended to doesn't mean this is actually bothering me. Exchanging a few text messages doesn't mean anything either. And no offense BigJ but you're the last one who I expected a comment from--- you weren't even in the thread where all of this took place.

I just wanted to have a laugh with anyone who remembers the deception that took place when this release was a huge question mark at best and we were so gullible when we got any sort of info

my post was in support of you not against what you were saying. I actually took the time to read it and sympathize with the situation since I do hate frauds.

I re-read what you wrote. I got caught up on the word "scorned" lol. I'm bringing members up to speed as well as reminisce with those who experienced it as it was happened. Sorry about that

I'm not actually offended. Just was a tad bored on my commute and seeing these pictures from actual friends and family got me thinking

100% agree with you there. Seems like the ones who make it the furthest on here / in life in general are the people who tell what really happened. I would've thought his story of meeting Kanye and getting his sneakers signed was cool enough. No need to lie about being at the proposal, the CD 10 year anniversary party, receiving a f+f pair...

Anyway, now that this release is behind us and you were one of the few to get a pair I think you'd appreciate a stroll back in the previous thread. It's all so funny to re-read now. Hindsight is great :lol:

Glad there's a mod that understands he isn't what he portrays himself to be in the slightest. Seemed like everyone was giving him a pass because he's met celebrities (through winning charity bids) AND has had an account for 10+ years on here.
