Thank you every one repped, throw your girl in and deal! :lol: naw kiddin brother, I remember u pmed me, for mod reasons I'm making clear I am just responding to the question above I was asked and I'm just addressing and answering I am not negotiating a deal or a sale.

Idk I think I could get plats cheaper at the time, or I was valuing plats at 3k plus 300, the ROs stand me in 3.5k so I was losing, sorry brother, I bought to wear but quality and lack of contentment over trying to fill the plats void with these didn't feel right, I think I'll just put them in the cupboard for a year or 2 n flip when pairs have dried up, put them up for 4-5k on the bay, I definitely don't want them for my collection any more, still going to shoot for plats, my personal favourite, but I ain't about to start talking trades or sales on here n get smoked for conspiracy again if you want a controversial conversation just pm me brother :smokin

People are gonna have to wear the box around their necks, carry ndc invoices in their pocket and a confirmation email with a 1:14 PM or better time from release day in order for dudes to accept pairs are real.

My Yeezy story is basically complete.  My pair has successfully made it to FC, and it'll sit there until someone needs/wants it.  I appreciate those earlier in the thread talking about some of the horror stories selling online (eBay/PP), you could have easily saved me my shoes/time/money.  Wished I lived in a bigger area, and maybe could have sold them locally...but just wasn't going to happen here in "the sticks".  I tried my best to rep everyone who recommended this and shared their horror stories. FC was my best bet, so thanks to those who suggested it as the safest method.

Said it when I first got them...this was finally my chance to get a pair of kicks I've been wanting since hearing the backstory and seeing pics. Well...finally happened (stupid size 13).

Hope everyone stays safe, and can find a pair eventually.  Thanks again to everyone helpful in the thread for those of us "regular folk" who got a pair and had no clue how to sell/trade it safely.

Just curious, how much did yours sell for through FC and how much were the DB5s?  Believe it or not, I actually sold my DB5s when they first came out at half of what they're probably worth now cause I felt like the quality of the leather was cheap.

They haven't sold yet @ FC.  After suggestion here w/ what to do w/ them, I submitted my quote and put in the comments "sell for whatever".  They came back and set the price @ $6,000.  I purchased the DB5s out of pocket.  It's not that I didn't have the money to spend on them...I just never could really justify the resale price to myself prior to getting the ROs.  Unless FC literally steals my pair, I'll get enough from the sale to fund the DBs even if I drop the price to rock bottom.  I'm in no rush, don't need the money, I'll just be patient and let them sit a while.  Once the RO's sell, I'll look to get a few more things I've missed out on, and stash the rest away for OTHER ones I will undoubtedly strike out on (this year's DBs for example).  I paid $1065 shipped for the DBs.  Expensive, but the best price I could find for a DS pair in a size 13...there have only been 2 on the bay the past few months...both still there listed @ $1500, and the  sellers won't budge.  I could have held out a bit longer, but found a pair, was still on my "Yeezy high", and pulled the trigger.   In a perfect world, I could have gotten a nice trade like @bigj505  , but I was in a rush when the tweet hit and didn't get my size.  Kind of difficult trying to trade an 11.5 ROs for a size 13 DBs + whatever, unless I'm trading w/ a reseller on eBay/CL who just has stockpiles of random sizes.

They're definitely a different shoe, and not for everyone.  I love them personally.  Etching is great, GITD accents are fun, leather sockliner, and the backstory (as heartbreaking as it is) are what does it for me (plus trying to complete my DB set). Having held both the ROs and DBs in hand...I'd personally take the DBs everyday of the week.  I admit, I'm a JB head stemming from my childhood obsession w/ MJ, but the fact is that their QC has severely lacked the past 5 or so years.  That being said...these are better quality than the ROs, which is pretty sad for what was supposed to be a "premium execution".  I've never seen a pair of Solars/Plats in person, but from pics they seem to blow the ROs not only out of the water, but across the hemisphere.  I wouldn't call the RO's "ugly in person", but I would call them extremely sloppy and rushed.  

I have absolutely no fashion sense, so take that for what it's worth...just my opinion.  I can see why the entire Yeezy line is enjoyed by sneakerheads (not just Kanye fans), but they just aren't for me.  I had no second thoughts the moment I realized I actually did land the ROs that they were nothing but the highest of trade bait I could have asked for...I just didn't think it would be as difficult to unload them safely.  That's why I chose FC, and why I was so appreciate of those who shared their stories.

those are real.

the suede difference is from the terrible quality control from nike (word to that guy from KTT who had the suede height tall and short on each shoe from his pair)
 
Starting a new discussion (apologies if it was discussed previously). Does anyone know or would like to guess what Nike red has been used on the ROs? I have compared my pair to just about every other Nike shoe that has red in it (varsity, university, fire, gym, sport, infra) and none are the same. I know the box is no help as it just states red. Indeed is it the same red or a number of different shades. I know that the same shade can look different depending on the material it applies to but I'm sure the sock liner and strap has a more orange hue than the toe box and midsole which are more true red in my opinion. I know there was talk at the beginning of the thread that they were most like infrared but they certainly are not the same as the two infrared Nikes I have (AJ 6 and AM1).
 
Agassi ATC II's (2014) Lava QS had a ton of quality issues amongst owners. Same soles same problems :smh: .. Probably similar production dates too.
