I met up with a guy here in stl (traded 3lab5 for DS pure money III and white/silver DS retro II) that came up on a deal on these for $2800. he thought they might have been fake because of the price and said he relisted his auction 2-3 times before giving in and selling them to him for that amount. Guy said people kept backing out of the sale.

Whilte i was there making the trade (and trying to get him to sell me his cool grey xi, lol) , the shipment came in. Dude was shaking and nervous and everything. he kept saying how he was gonna be pissed if they were take.

Dude cuts open the box and almost slashes his fingers because he is so nervous, pulls out the shoes and...............They were in fact authentic.

Dude took the insole out (which looked leather) and was inspecting them like crazy and kept reading the numbers printed on the inside where the insole was. He said something like, "if it starts with an E they are real, if it starts with a W, they are fake" or something like that. (might be different letters, but im sure you catch my drift)

They look nice, but id never pay more than regular price to have them........im just not that into sneakers like that.

Toebox seems like it's pregnant. Might've just been stuffed. I'd remove some of it asap. Did this to my plats and the suede kind of tore smh. Needless to say I was pissed. Made me want to sell my pair and get new ones.

I have both of the colors, but I still don't know how to 100% spot a good fake. Makes me nervous the more I think about it. I have only purchased one other shoe on the aftermarket, and that was flight club.

I look at the lace holes.  Must be dark burgandy red with slits in it.  A lot of fakes are shiny red.
