Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

Don't get me wrong here, but its crazy how people worship Kanye. I mean yeah my avatar is all Yeezys, I know, but the shoe is dope IMO. Quality on the 1s is unparalleled, and the two is just something we've never really seen before. But as I scroll through IG, all I see is people who only buy Yeezys, Dons, Bred 1s, aka only shoes Kanye wears. And then they are wearing the pyrex oversized shirt, the leather joggers, checkered flannel, even the kilt lmao. Its like Star Wars and the clone army, but with Kanye instead lol. Its all a matter of opinion of course, but I think its getting a little excessive here. But in all honestly, its turning me away from this shoe. Anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

idk why but thats hilarious to me

just picture...an army of hypebeast walking the streets and causing havoc

The people who wear kilts, leather pants, Pyrex, etc... aren't Kanye fans they're hypebeasts. I myself am a big Ye fan and I cringe when people dress like that.

I agree but I did find some zara leather biker pants that fit perfectly. I don't wear to be like kanye but rather they just look great. As far as Pyrex, I personally don't like it nor would I ever buy anything just because kanye endorses it. Even if kanye's name wasn't attached to the yeezy the shoe is sick itself. If these really are the Ye and addidas shoe id pass or cop just wear to the gym or random stroll.

there's nothing wrong with wearing something you saw someone else wear first, if you truly like it, if it fits you, your style, (or something you like and wanna try, even if it doesn't fit your style), etc... but to wear any and every single thing another person wears is sad... that means you don't care about what you do or don't like, and base your opinions and options on another person's taste (that's why i used to think brandon sales was mega lame, his shoe collection at one point consisted strictly of shoes he saw Ye wear, or he'd buy the EXACT same snapback, or gloves, etc., he saw him wear, then he had the nerve to call himself a "stylist", LOL)...

people mix up the two, tho... and try to imply that if you pick up any trend Ye does, you're a stan, sheep, whatever.

i'm of the mind that if he wears something i think looks dope, then i might mess with it... but i also see things he wears that are mega fugly to me, and wouldn't be caught dead in, like givenchy (dog faces on clothes looks tacky to me), full on kilts (not just a long tee, which i don't like unless it's layered underneath a normal shirt, otherwise it looks like a night gown), pyrex (stuff is terrible looking to me), etc., etc...

there are clones, and then there are open minded people who simply follow trends they like, and ignore trends they don't like.
