Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

I definetley will be keeping this pair for some time but eventually they'll leave my hands.

Leasing sneakers,

Have there been vnds pairs sold on eBay yet?

Wondering what I can get for mine, kinda want Banned 1's.

To each his own I suppose. I have reported it several times though. We have legit check...

people barely bother to help people out in LC. I have posted so many times in LC and got NO response or help, at that point what is somebody to do? Go to a thread about the shoe in question that has way more traffic.... just my .02

Agreed. That's sort of a problem. People complain about having to post in the legit check forums and yet no one actually posts there. People that are first to point out where to post legit checks should actually be a part of legit checks as well.

Wow, that's Porsche money, b.

I'm so impressed!

Good effort, tho.
The number of pairs you have is irrelevant to the fact that you're 'leasing' your shoes, brodie.

Good effort, tho.

I haven't sold anything yet, brodie, still an owner.

These would probably be the first sneaker I've sold in over 5+ years, and that's only if I can find someone w/ Banned 1's in my size.

But here, I'll give you some of those lulz you were looking for, maybe I'll even give you a rep or 2, too.

Good thing you went back and found that post, tho, this thread was on life support.

I personally never would spend $1,450.00 on a sneaker I'd keep forever. Sure, I may keep these for a while, but I know that when the "lease" is up, I'll be making at least a 50% return on top of my principal investment.

They're your sneakers and its your money, you can do w/e you want w/ them,

I just don't understand the point in buying a sneaker w/ intent to sell, because I've never really done it.

I think most people just want to have the hot item so they can post on IG, then sell it, rinse and repeat.

Not saying that's you, but that's a lot of clowns nowadays.

Also, it's always funny to me when dudes bring up ROI w/ sneakers,

I'm not the type to post it on IG, you can even check mine (@mikeyman14). I RARELY post my sneaker pick-ups.

My main purpose for buying with the intent to sell , or "lease" these sneaker, is so I can save money and then end up profiting when it comes time to sell.

That's cool, hopefully you're saving up and looking to get into bigger things.

You seem business minded and I'm assuming you're young, so that's good.

Don't be that guy in his 30's who's refreshing NDC until his fingers are bleeding trying to make a few bucks, please.

It bothers me when I see people my age and older still camping out for sneakers to resell for $50 profit, with all the time and energy they put into sneakers, they could be making MUCH better money doing something else.

People are just slaves to the swoosh and its kinda sad, but w/e.

Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread any longer,

Should've just donated them to shelter anywhere those shoes would've been put to good use. I know everyone in the sneaker game hates fakes and won't ever wear them and that's cool cause I'm same way. But they're plenty more people who could careless about if they are real or fake they just know they got some new shoes they can wear in streets.
Seriously..what a waste of shoes.  I would've given them to a homeless guy or something.

People just stick with what they know because they're comfortable & familiar with it. If you've been copping shoes for 10+ years and have a connect it's much easier to resell kicks than learn a new skill/trade.

I doubt any one does it as there main source of income unless they own a boutique. Nothing wrong with having a Side Hustle. Real Business minded folk don't limit there possibilities. just my 2 cents.

I feel you, and again didn't mean any disrespect.

Like I had mentioned before though (way back in the thread), when I am paying way below market value for pairs and the pair happens to be in my size, why not keep 'em for a bit and wear them.

I PLAN on keeping these Solars I got for sometime, but who knows. I already got offered 60% + my principal or Reds and I add 800. Both are tempting offers.
