So at Sneaker Con there was this dude that had a pair of Solars that came up to me and was interested in some of the shoes I had.
I noticed he had Solars and immediately asked if he would do a trade. I didn't know what to look for at all regarding if they were legit or not.
I was kind of shocked to see him want my Grape 5's, Laney's and 400$.
One of my homies was walking around and I called him over and we both kind of had that feeling they were fake.
Materials felt off and just looked different.
For those who don't know Sneaker Con has this new section where they legit check shoes for you. So I told him that I'm not comfortable copping a shoe like this with so many fakes out there and asked to come with me to get them checked.
He then told me that he was about to leave soon and if we didn't get this trade now... I'd be taking a big L. The shoes were worn, no box, no lace tips... NADA.
I then proceeded to ask if he would bring it up to one of the vendors that had a many pairs of Yeezy 2's to get them checked out there and he said he still didn't have the time.
Trying to convince me he says "C'mon man, you have my word these are real" as he puts his hand out trying to shake my hand. This all just seemed to fishy and I walked away from it... He said if they were fake he'd refund me and ship my shoes back from Pennsylvania but I wasn't buying...
Long story short I'm yeezyless.

This dude did not want to get the shoes checked out out at all so I just said screw itAt this point sellers have to either have an insane reputation, like coolshoeshine, or be willing to bend over completely backwards to prove legitimacy, or you need to just pass em by... Not worth it, don't let thirst land some fakes in your lap.
