Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

Swear I got some bad luck. Was watching a RO auction for 2 days and it just ended.

I had placed bids on the item but the seller cancelled them for the reason "feedback" even though I have 206+ feedback on eBay. He then proceeds to block me with 1 minute left so I couldn't bid on the item.

Come on man. That's an insane comment. There are so many new reps coming out every few months with shady sellers taking specific angles etc. If you didn't have LC's you could miss something. It's easy to do when you finally find a pair and a person willing to deal in realistic $'s. Nobody should be afraid to LC (albeit not in this thread, but I'm guilty of the same thing) If NT didn't exist I wouldn't have any of my yeezy's except for one pair of RO's. They gave me the confidence and knowledge to seek out legit sellers.
 
I dont know about those Solars @Mark081990  

The scales look off to me, they dont have that ashy-ness to em. I def would not do this trade unless i met in person or he shipped first.

Exactly fam, especially for a VNDS pair. Where are those ashy scales we always see.

Plus he seems to eager to do this deal and share info with me that I didn't ask for (like his other trade offers he received)..

Biggest thing is I can see through the soles a little. But I need some verification on that.

He says biggest flaw is the suede on them.

I'm skeptical. He got a lot of RT's from people saying "this is a steal"...
 
Yea I would probably hold off myself. I know its so tempting when you finally find a pair.

On a side note, how are you guys minimizing/correcting (if possible) toe box creasing? I cleaned up my RO's from a busy weekend and that is the only portion that is showing signs of wear. I cleaned them up and stuck cedar wood trees in them. Any other thoughts?

I use SneakerShields in most of my kicks. Unds'd my tans last weekend, wore them for 5 hours, came home with 0 creases.

Thanks for the tip, but I tried both kinds, the softer ones and the hard ones. I just can't ruin the comfort of the shoes with those things. I even have a bit of extra room in them and they still feel horrible on my feet. Glad they work for you. Anyone try the steam/iron&towel trick?

It works well on leather but I've never tried it on mesh

If they can't get the Solars right after years, which are probably harder to replicate because of the scales, no way they've "perfected" these already. They just use authentic pictures and then tell they buyer they're out of stock and to choose another product or they just send them whatever.

the only thing I've noticed is that they have sz10.5 which no other place has offered of the yeezy 2 reps so if you truly did get a pair they might be gm
 
ITT dudes paying $3000 for something they can't even tell you if it's real or not

seems kinda wild to me..

Those are legit.. if its VNDS, that means it's not going to be that ashy.  My DS pair of solars had basically no ashy-ness to it.

apparently just a hair dryer while pushing them out will work... haven't tried it.

i've still been punishing my feet with sneaker shields when i've worn them... :smh: simply cuz i HATE how these look all creased up...

I'm pretty sure you can modify them too if you haven't tried that all ready. Just get scissors to or something to cut and modify it for a better fit since it's just plastic I believe

here's mine when i had em lol

My worn pair are way ashier because of they've been worn, i realized that they get ashy from just laying in a box for awhile too.

I'm not a fan of worn scales. It seems like it makes the shoe look rough IMO.
Proto...how bad are the creases in your ro toe box?
