You deff gonna have to add cash on top but space jams and banneds are nice to use in a trade you'd probably have to add 1.5-2k on top tho because personally the recent retro of the fire red 3s correct paint chipping and the black and red 11s could've been had multiple times

Most of the time, gotta have heat to trade. Like a 2 for 1 trade. A bunch of GRs won't cut it. Cash is king though.

ask for a ton of cash to go with that trade, only shoe that has real value are the banned 1's and space jams.

I appreciate the insight.

Personally, I don't like dealing with re-selling of sneakers. Unless you've got gullible people who have no problem spending $50-$100 mark up to ensure a pair (I have a friend who consistently sells 10-15 pair of WHATEVER retro drops at $100 over retail. Every drop, same 10-16 guys.), I find it's more hassle than it's worth.

To me, trading 5 pairs of any shoes I'm NOT wearing for a pair I would wear is the deal. I can't justify spending $3,000 on a pair of sneakers. Tried. I would have done it for the Mags, had I needed to, but luckily I didn't. I'll probably just let go of the Banneds, Space Jams, and Foams for as much as I can grab cash local. They're just sitting there.

But I just can't spend the $. And I might be in the slim minority that thinks the Red/Red > Black/Solar at this point. This coming from someone who wore the **** out of his Solars.

It's crazy how much they charge. Certain shoes shouldn't even be selling for half of what their asking for.

The thing is people are actually buying. During the 30 mins I was there numerous people made purchases.

It's a cool store to visit but I don't seeing myself buying from there unless it was like a grail I couldn't find anywhere.

yup, same here. Only bought two shoes outta there, flightposite 3s which were 250 after tax (good price) and hoh royal foams (grail, can't find anywhere else). Like you said it's crazy how many ppl buy outta there. Oftentimes there's a very big line just to pay for your shoes over there.

Some of their prices are "okay" but 99.9% of them are insane.

It's crazy. I'm just looking around, while left and right these little kids are getting their parents to buy them all these kicks.

I enjoy going there though. It's cool to see some of the kicks in person and just the environment is cool.

A lot of people that visit FCNY are also tourists from other countries who look to purchase shoes that they can't otherwise be found or bought off ebay due to shipping difficulties. I've especially seen many europeans there that buy a lot of runners from the store.

Thanks for the input guys I was thinking that a 12 would be pretty snug anyways and I don't think there are any 12.5s made for this shoe so I'm gonna keep my eye out for a 12 at a reasonable price and talk to this guy right now with his zen greys

they made 12.5, but they were very few, rare, and sold overseas only, to my knowledge.

12 should fit fine. the general consensus used to be that zens and nets fit a full size big, and blinks a half size big (tho i find they all fit the same).

could even get $1200, IMO, depending on the size...
