Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

Another thing I notice a lot of people who are extra mad at the way this release was handled are mad their bots weren't running. So it's unfair Nike didn't let you get an unfair advantage? Oh ok

Can we all just look at the FACTS?

When the ROs first came out a week ago, stupid pairs on eBay were going for 10K - millions!, realistic pairs were going for 4K - 5K. Today, no pairs are going for over 4K. This is a FACT!

On FC they were listed for 6K, and with people saying they will even raise the price to 6.5K - 7K. Couple days later, pairs listed for $5,750, and today a pair was listed for 4.5K. You think someone will list it for 4.5K if pairs were flying out the store for 6K? This is also a FACT!

The RO is one of the most epic shoes ever, I agree. Will they go for less than the other 2? I don't think so, just because this is the last Yeezy under Nike, and the hype and the way it was released was just one of a kind. But be realistic people, look at the facts. The denials...!

“The idea that those Yeezys sold out in 11 minutes, yeah that’s good for my ego, good for my ego. The problem is there’s 20,000 of y’all and you know what? That’s not good for my people, for my people, for my people. I’m not here to be some type of novelty that you can put in a box, so you can say you’re the company that released the Yeezys. The reason why I made the decision between Adidas and Nike, is because Adidas said I could make more product for more people. The reason why I speak directly to Tim Cook, directly to Eric Schmidt, directly Mark Parker is cause I got a microphone and I can!”

you guys seem to keep forgetting that the seller picks the price on FC. Smart people would lower their pair when theres 5+ pairs of the same size in FC

No one will list it for under 6K if pairs were flying out the store for 6K, so there's a reason why people are listing it for lower.

and thats what will start to happen... in all sizes, that has multples.. at any reduced price its still a profit no matter how you slice it

It's Monday and LA didn't even have a pair until Friday at 5 PM. FC's average selling price has come down about $400 factoring in the 4500 pair. And that person clearly priced the it's lower so they get their check cut next week. Of course the price came down from the 6k which is what FC wanted to sell at. People want to move theirs thru FC faster than others. But to think that is some drastic change? FC has had pairs for FIVE days and has already moved multiple pairs. Don't exaggerate things here.

I cant get anyone to let one go... trade, sell or otherwise
Yeah even in my local buy/sell... Sellers want atleast 3.7-4k and a couple have turned down 3k and 3.3 offers. The lowest Ive seen it let go was 3.5k and many are still holding on to their pairs

Huh? They've sold 4 pairs in 5 days at 6k. These sellers came in to undercut the going price and get theirs sold immediately. If you have a price point you want to get, set it and watch it go. Nothing wrong with that. But it's not because pairs have been sitting! Five days smh...

Does everyone get hit with that huge tax or FC or is it just CA and NY residents? I thought you only get taxed when they have a physical store in your state...

yes they would Not everybody wants every penny out of this shoe. People are willing to take a hit to sell theirs faster.
Yea, but when I say flying out the store is like pairs are getting sold in less than a week, which is what a lot of people in this thread are implying.

Well NY has approximately 14 pairs in stock right now and LA 6. They've sold 4. LA has only had pairs come in this weekend. Why would all of the buyers with 6K to drop on these be rushing over a weekend (especially All-Star weekend)? The fact that they've sold 1/6 of their inventory in less than a week at that price point shows how real the thirst is. Anyone expecting a consignment shop to move 24 pairs of 6K shoes in a matter of 3-5 days as a sign that "they're moving" might be brain dead.
