Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

Am I the only who hopes this transition causes nike to start to fall apart. In my 15 years of collecting, it seems like nike never has gave two f's about the consumer.

I get that it's a business, but remember when businesses used to value customers? Ehhh salt has me being nostalgic

Salt levels are astronomical!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's not magic. That's someone who chose to list their pair at that price to move them (and watch, they're gone in less than a day). The average price on FC is still more than $5600. Lol

So how far back in line to sell is your pair now? Starting to sweat? do us all a favor and sell your pair and get out of the thread so we can stop talking about the resale and start talking about the actual shoes, design, and pics.

damn son

I just wanna know who the guy is that he saw put up 100k on Ebay. B/c that dude got jerked on legendary levels.

1.) how does he even misspell his own youtube channel name?
2.) dude who got 100K bidded on his auction really thought he was going to get a Maserati off of the ebay sale. ebay is the WORST place to sell something due to the amount of flakers, especially since they got rid of the shill bidding rule.

The problem is that the consumer feels they need every weekly release.

Things are definitely changing. FC LA just turned down my size 11 quote request of 5750 saying no demand at that price! I'm in no rush though. If they don't sell for a certain price I will just keep them.

yes they would Not everybody wants every penny out of this shoe. People are willing to take a hit to sell theirs faster.
Yea, but when I say flying out the store is like pairs are getting sold in less than a week, which is what a lot of people in this thread are implying.
Well NY has approximately 14 pairs in stock right now and LA 6. They've sold 4. LA has only had pairs come in this weekend. Why would all of the buyers with 6K to drop on these be rushing over a weekend (especially All-Star weekend)? The fact that they've sold 1/6 of their inventory in less than a week at that price point shows how real the thirst is. Anyone expecting a consignment shop to move 24 pairs of 6K shoes in a matter of 3-5 days as a sign that "they're moving" might be brain dead.

WAIT, SO THERE ARE ONLY 20 PAIRS BETWEEN THE 2 STORES? WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE WHO WAS SENDING THEM TO FLIGHTCLUB

Yeah no problem for me. I have a minimum which is lower then the current FC price I will go down to but in no rush. Would rather be patient and get a reasonable amount for them in the long term then rush in now and get scammed etc.

They got rid of that for real?

Not necessarily. I pass on a lot of ****. In fact I work at HOH and pass on most releases. This was THE one shoe I wanted this year and I failed. Not mad at who got them, In fact congrats to them since its not their fault Nike dropped them in this way. But it is kind of a slap in the face for fans of the sneaker who cant be on their phones all day. I literally checked the forums every single day since I heard of another chance at a Yeezy 2. Own two pairs of 1s, but never a 2. To think that all those days of constant checking lead up to a release that happened right under my nose feels like ****. I wouldve AT LEAST wanted to have a chance at it, but by the time I got on twitter, the sold out tweet was what I saw. Now everyone is on their toes for every other limited release since it could literally drop online at any moment, and that kind of paranoia isnt cool. In fact after the past week ive kinda realized how dumb and over saturated this sneaker game is. Im a grown man, and to be obsessing over a shoe just isnt worth my time anymore. So thats what I got out of this release and I hope everyone else realizes this. Nike isnt going anywhere. Their profit margins are ridiculous and 8 out of 10 people wearing sneakers are wearing a Nike shoe whether it be Jordan, Nike, or Converse. At the end of the day its a piece of rubber and fabric made by some poor asian kid who probably got a soccer ball as payment for making them, and here we are contemplating dropping thousands on a pair. Wake up ya'll

My 2 cents.
