depends what pair you like more. if you want to sell them down the line, keep the solars. if you plan on wearing them, take whichever pair YOU like more

i would say they will only hold their value for another 3-5 days max. after that, prices should drop to a little over retail as the hype dies down.

i would do it then. maybe ask for like $200 or something if you want, and if he declines, then do the straight up deal. make sure it all checks out though. dont need to lose a pair of solars
