Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

if i've learned anything in this thread its that some people just want to be right.  and you're a prime example.  i'm not just some random dude thats making this stuff up.  i buy/sell sport bikes every year.  i buy/sell Breitlings every year.

the dispute process is not a headache when you have your ducks in a row.

if the idiot buyer still trys to file a chargeback AFTER signing a legal document and knowing that the shoes were recorded being packaged, then...no words for that idiot.

yall are acting like the CC companies don't do research on the matter.  yall acting like the buyer can file a chargeback at 1:00 and the CC company will refund him at 1:01, for $4000.

you're slow
You still fail with the video evidence. All I would have to do is say that the shoes you agreed to sell me are NOT what I received. Video evidence can not validate authenticity of the product. The replicas look the same on video. All I would have to do is say you sold me fakes, then send the fakes back to you....and get my money back while keeping your yeezys. You can't prove that the shoes you packaged on video are the same ones that are in the box that I recieve. All you would have is you packaging up a pair of shoes. An easy switch can be made at the post office before you send them out to me.

Maybe you didn't see that video Zaya X posted on youtube. THIS EXACT THING HAPPENED TO HIM. He recorded the shoes being packaged up. Recorded the whole process including the transaction at the post office. Paypal WOULDN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE VIDEO for the same reasons I mentioned. Since they can't verify the authenticity of the shoe in your video, nor can they verify with 100% certainty that the shoes in the recording are the shoes in the box I receive, they won't even look at the video. Here is the video I mentioned. It's a bit long...but it's worth the watch. You'll notice that he mentions that he has used video evidence to protect him and win claims in the past AS A BUYER....but the whole scenario plays out differently when he is the SELLER using video evidence. Paypal assumes the sellers are guilty.

 Replicas of 1 of 1 pieces of art are sold and bought all the time, without the buyer knowing it's fake. It's been a known problem in the art world for a long time. I know because I was an artist for half my life, and my best friend from high school makes and sells paintings professionally for thousands of dollars in NYC.

You really think that much money can be made off of art and there's not scam artists who replicate it and sell it?

I'm not even gonna talk about this art thing anymore tho, cuz none of that was ever my point. My only point was that art collectors usually want authentic pieces. Car collectors want authentic cars. Toy collectors want authentic toys. Baseball collectors want authentic cards. Etc, etc.

If you don't get that, then you're the one with the problem, not me.

I've never looked for fakes, maybe you have? But all I was saying was in the last thread a few people said that yeezybay wouldn't respond to them, and they seemed to be filtering who they sold to. They are the only makers of "super super perfects" that I know of, the rest of the fakes are dead obvious, so that's who I was talking about.

Maybe I was wrong about them being the only ones making the "super super perfects", I don't know, cuz I've never looked into buying fakes.

It's not only in the art world (and sneaker world)....

Billy Crystal, as well as the Baseball HOF, have purchased and displayed memorabilia that was fake. Reggie Jackson signed a jersey that turned out to be fugazzi. Eli Manning is dealing with the same situation (to a certain extent).

Wasn't trying to single you out, just used your quote.

Did I hurt your feelings? Dry your eyes or blow your nose on my cape.

 thread has brought all types of characters out.

my bad, by all means continue the circle jerk.

Just copped some VNDS Plats for $600...

:pimp:

Yay me.

This dude... :smh:

Hitting the Yeezy jackpot 2 weeks in a row...

Congrats!

Send some of that good luck my way, my dude.

Got the cash together for a cash deal now, just can't find a size 12 for the price I want quite yet...

Yeah, I know.

And that's common knowledge, anything valuable can and will be replicated by scammers to make money.

It's funny the lengths people will go to just to argue tho, whether what they're saying is true or not...

I've been bugging my friend for them for quite some time.

I'm trying to get his VNDS Solar, but he said not right now....he will probably let them go for around 12 when that time comes. :pimp:

I'm actually really considering buying solars again. I realllllllly regret selling them a while back

. I won't find them for anywhere near 600 though. I'm gonna try my luck after seeing that it's possible lol.

 Now you're really moving the goalposts. First it was people knowingly buying fakes... now its people getting scammed. Both acts have harmful effects to their relative community, but the latter is completely different scenario and much more malicious.

I never said there weren't counterfeits, I specifically stated "The reason art is so valuable is because there is only one authentic for any given piece in the world." Yes they can be replicated, but not duplicated.

If anyone needs to be removed from this thread its you for specifically mentioning a source to obtain counterfeits on more than one occasion.

Also, that site you mentioned was not the same as the pairs I had seen. The shoes I saw were in a comparison vid on a popular video site and with the exception of a few details they were nearly identical to the real deal.

Everyone knows that anything worth selling is worth counterfeiting. But if you do your homework there are also ways to ensure a safe purchase.

I deal with old cars all the time and there are some models that can be very hard to differentiate the originals from a good clone. Thats why proper paperwork is so important and cars without build-sheets are worth a fraction of those with documentation.

Wow, I'm surprised someone didn't bite for that trade. I hope you find your Solars though. I'll be looking for mine crazily lol.

May anyone confirm whether these are real or not? It's for a friend. I'm pretty sure they're authentic but he wants to know.

The only reason I mentioned the buyer not knowing and getting scammed tho is cuz that's how good the fakes are of some paintings, which you made it sound like there was no such thing.

But the whole entire point was the buyer obviously wants the original, non counterfeit, version.

If they're serious enough about it they won't settle for the fake. Same with any serious collector of anything.

I didn't even really diss people who wear fakes, but you were calling us idiots for not settling for the fakes, and gunning for the real thing. When you're serious about it, and you have the money, that's what collectors do.

Whatever dude. I think you just wanna argue.
