Sami pullin that scumbag move..not surprising..seemed to just want as much attention as possible.
this. if you take away niketalk and twitter you will realize what kind of kid sami really is. chances are youve all abused or hated someone very similar to him. i never understood the infatuation with him.

Wow. The corniness just reaffirms why I never decided to drop bread on this shoe. Don't know why I expected different this time around lol

I dont see why people are upset. If the RD was posted the bots woulda been ready and the number of pairs on here would be way lower

I agree. But the way he was talking about news and all the lying is uncalled for. If he just kept his mouth shut it would've been an entirely different story

whats sami (spelling) nt user name? I wanna look up the post.
@SuNiversal

thanks. here is his quoted post as well as the link. thanks alp alp

I don't care about your pictures, that yeezy "announcement" u had was what I was referring too. You got roasted bad, deservingly so, basically being banished from the thread for your false info and weak sample.

The red yeezys are never going to release

I got roasted bad? I actually had to release date  and you can confirm this with sneakernews. I was going to share with NT but with all the negative feedback on my samples I held off.

Guess you didn't notice the coincidence between my feature and time of the release? I was able to get a few more pairs though. Enjoy your day.

WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT.

Him knowing the RD changes nothing. Who really cares who he told, either?

That's a lie. Dude came in here and hyped up the story of those garbage samples like it was going to be some huge piece of news related to the RO. The roasting was well deserved. You would have never shared a date, so please don't front like you would have for some sympathy attention.

Meh... nothing special, but ive never been a huge yezzy stan in the first place. Good looks on coming through with the pics though.

Nah.  Sami only cares about social media follows and his ego.

Why would he actually try and help out anyone in the forums?

Clearly he wants nothing to do with this Yeezy thread since he hasn't posted once in it.

anything can happen but I wouldnt worry about it until it happens or there's an official announcement and it doesn't get cancelled an hr later like last time

that was prolly the biggest fail i've ever seen a sneaker store have.

i don't know where the miscommunication happened, but somehow FTL didn't get the memo, or didn't care, that they weren't supposed to announce drop info at that time.

i thought nike was usually pretty clear about this stuff, like what info is allowed to be announced and when, especially on a release as big as this, and if you breach their trust, there are consequences... so i'm really curious how this ball was dropped so hard.

obviously nike was throwing them a bone and giving them the most hyped release of all time, only for them to jump the gun, and get it snatched right back from them.

as soon as that happened tho, i knew there was a good chance these were gonna release, in some way (despite what sami was saying, i had a feeling he was wrong about them never releasing, cuz he was prolly basing that on something kanye told him, but kanye was obviously out of the loop. i mean, wasn't ye quoted as also saying a couple months ago that there were only a few pairs in existence, and they were all in his size 12? lol)...

really glad they did release tho, cuz even if they're dumb expensive to cop right now, it's still better than paying $6K - $8K for one of the stolen pairs floating around (and still being unsure if what you were getting was actually legit, since there was no actual released one to compare them to, only speculation based on pix of pairs we knew to be legit)...

then move onto the next man with a pair. don't deal with dummies unless you plan on making use of their stupidity.

not everyone that has/had a pair is going ham on the prices and displaying lack of fundamental understanding of selling shoes.

Not that easy in my size. But definitely feel what you are saying. Patience is definitely key for this transaction.

Throwing FTL a bone? They move a lot of product for Nike/JB. I would argue that they are their biggest account. While FTL effed up royally I can't agree they got thrown a bone. With the limited numbers released FTL wasn't going to cash out on that deal...

And this past couple of pages is why Sami didn't share any of the information.

And if 4W says he didn't have a heads up then I believe him. just going off of what I thought.

Anyway, release is over and doesn't really matter anymore, not that big of a deal

I think the point is being missed. The issue isn't whether or not Sami threw a bone on the RD. The issue is the fact that HE announced some big news regarding the yeezy's in the RO thread. Now keep in mind, this whole time he was the resident expert of all things RO before the FTL release fumble. It is not farfetched for everyone to assume that he was coming through with solid RO info after him hyping it. It was an obvious troll and he can't honestly be naive to the massive amounts of ridicule people on here receive for far less of NikeTalk crimes, especially these coveted ROs.

I have no horse in any race. But looking objectively, it's clear to me Sami knowingly trolled us all with the "big news" announcement; and therefore it's reasonable for him to get clowned for it. We've seen it plenty of times before and we'll see it plenty of times after.

Neither was Nike tho, it was throwing them a bone in terms of letting them in on the hype, which is the whole basis of Nike's relationship with kanye, and the purpose of the shoe (not a ton of money to be made on a shoe limited to a couple / few thousand pairs, at least not in comparison to the numbers they usually do, this release was all about generating hype for them).

Hyped releases are the best promotion for any sneaker store, even ones as big as FTL. Especially a hyped shoe as prolific as this one.

Nike prolly wanted to give them to FTL just so they didn't have to further promote kanye anymore, after he left for their competition. But they prolly also wanted it to be a silent, random drop, no matter who was releasing them, to avoid bots from claiming all the pairs, as they're obviously trying to fight against.

That said, Nike won by taking all the profit of the release, and not having to promote kanye at all.

Everytime there's a yeezy thread people think its the official lets write paragraphs and full pages thread -_-

Don't understand the point in commenting on it tho. Just don't read it if it doesn't interest you.

Obviously this does interest those posting and reading it, and that's the point.

I don't go in threads about foams (a shoe I have no interest in whatsoever) and comment on how long people's posts are, or even share my opinion about the shoe, cuz I don't care about them. And the people who do care about the shoe and are posting about them don't care about what I have to say if I don't like them or share any info about them. So what's the point?

Just seems like a bigger waste of time than the paragraphs you're complaining about...
