Trayvon pt. 2? Vol. Stay classy Florida...

There is a Kid Dead.... Racially charged cold blooded murder... Another victim of a senseless law...... and instead of discussing that people are arguing over which state takes bigger L's
Actually it wasn't cold blooded. Or at least the facts thus far don't point to any premeditation. That would be hard for lawyers to prove. Dude will probably get 2nd degree, some form of manslaughter at the very least.

You're not grasping the legal concept of cold blooded bro. Cold blooded murder = 1st degree in criminal court. Pretty hard to prove 1st degree in situations like this.

You're referring to the slang "cold blooded," which yeah I can agree with. Shooting teens and moving along like nothing happened.

cold blood =/=premeditation

Dude killed those kids in cold blood, period. He showed no emotion, he gunned them down and thought nothing of it.

The premeditation part deals with whether or not he thought about doing the shooting before going over to confront the kids. And I don't think he did.

It's hard for people to understand that don't live here but there's "two" Floridas, north and south Florida, a lot of these crazy stories come from north Florida

Explain...

Srsly, because I've never been (outside of Disney land)....but the wild stuff I hear makes me not wanna go.

That's tough to prove.

Any stream for this?

What I'm telling you is that they don't have to prove "cold blood" for a 1st degree murder conviction, they have to prove premeditation.

And premeditation/deliberation is not the same a being cold blooded.

-It is obvious he was cold blooded, leaving the scene, not calling cops, going back to his room to chill. He was actin like he wasn't worried bout nothing. He showed no emotion, he was cold blooded

-Premeditation is not obvious, and tough to prove, whether or not shooting those kids crossed his mind before he walked over to them. The prosecutors are trying to say the thug music comment points to that, but I feel that's a reach to prove

Murders are usually considered "cold blooded" if they are in the 1st degree aka pre-meditated.

1st Degree Criminal Homicide (Murder) -- These are acts involving the death of someone in "cold-blood" or by "lying in wait".

The terms are closely related. It's hard to prove one without the other.

http://www.azcourts.gov/ccsguide/AggravatingCircumstances/ARS13751F13.aspx

The Court observed that the Hausner trial court’s narrowing instructions, substantially the same as those approved in Jackson, clarified to the jury that “all first degree premeditated murders are, to some extent, committed in a cold, calculated manner,” but distinguished this aggravator as one that “cannot be found to exist unless ... the defendant exhibited a cold intent to kill and is more contemplative, more methodical, more controlled than that necessary to commit premeditated first degree murder.” The instruction further defined the term “cold” as “a product of a calm and cool reflection” and “calculated” as “having a careful plan or prearranged design to commit murder.” The court emphasized that the jury must look to the defendant's state of mind at the time of the offense to determine whether there exists any pretense of moral or legal justification that rebuts cold and calculated, and that it must find beyond a reasonable doubt that there is
            (1) a careful plan or prearranged design before the murder, and
            (2) a cool and calm reflection for a substantial period of time before the murder.

South Florida is very liberal, like most major cities, once you get past palm beach county, its really "country" and very underdeveloped. So this is why you have these strange, ignorant, sad stories. Not saying crazy stuff doesn't happen in south Florida, but northern Florida is very backwoods, and very racist.
