So, I see that they have some Foamposites(Nike Lil Posite pro) for GS sizes and the retail is $180..LMFAO! How do you guys feel about that? DO you guys think Nike is taking it too far with these MSRP's, especially for a GS size shoe? I think that's insane that I just LMAO about it.. What do you guys think about it?

They been creeping up over time. I knew it would get out of hand eventually

people pay for the shoe, I don't see anything wrong just bc it's gs sizes.

Just sit there and think about it, $180 for a kid size shoe. $180 for a FREAKING KID SIZE SHOE! $180 is what the Og retail was for the Royal blue foamposites in 97. $180 is an adult size shoe price, not a kid size shoe.. I couldn't stop laughing when I first read about that...LMFAO

what about spending $250 + tax on an adult shoe?

shoe prices in general are over the top, agree.

It's only going to get worse, it's more of a social status/popularity thing. Now you have these kids in midde school trying to stunt with $180 foams because everyone else has Jordans on. $115 Preschool sizes soon, just watch.

When Jays reach $200, I may have to bow out. I just need my few remaining pairs to be done.

LMFAO @ $115 for Pre School Sizes...LMFAOOOOOOOo

Men's Nike Foam PROs were $170 for years. Now they release kids for $180 and bump mens to $250 :x

Im done with Nike. Their quality keeps dropping and their prices keep rising.

The recent FP1 retro.... if you can even call it that was the straw that completely broke the camels back. The shoes they're releasing today literally look worse than fakes.

$180 for some cheaply made kids shoes that they'll outgrow in 6 months is absurd; but if people pay it why would Nike charge less ?

Im curious to see how long this will last.... Nike cant keep selling people the same old faux limited crap in new colors forever. With this beanie baby business model they're bound to burn out soon.

Pros were $190 not even 2.5 years ago. The teal and pines were $190.

I think more people are drawing the line though. I've gone to local shoe spots around my way recently and have seen the last few foamposite releases still on stock with plenty of sizes on hand. I've seen this in both LA and NYC so its not just a region thing.

Stuff like the weathermans, safaris, those asteroid looking things, and the Spider-Man's just aren't worth $250. That's not just me saying it but alot of other people as well.

At $190 for pros and $200 for ones you most likely get alot of the on the bubble buyers to be more likely to cop, but at $250 while they may like the shoes, their not necessairly a must have so their more willing to pass.

$250 is about $270 after tax, I wouldn't be surprised if that slows sales for even more desirable colorways as well.

For the $180 kids sizes, im curious as to how well they'll actually sell.

Foams aren't what they once were though.

My lil cuz had a bday party and he turned 10. His whole lil crew had on gucci, fendi, lv, burberry belts true religion jeans and north face jackets. Nike sees a open market I aint eem mad at em

I think a parent should make a smarter decision than buying Nikes over a hundred dollars for their kid.
Ding Ding Ding. Every time I see it I shake my head. That kid is going to outgrow those shoes in six months stop it

Its crazy. Its always nice for kids to have a nice pair of sneakers and look well maintained but to spend crazy amounts of money on designer items and stuff is rediculous. I sound like an old man but when I was kid, I was at the park playing, running around everywhere and getting my clothes filthy dirty from doing stuff kids do. Most those kids probably have no clue about the brands and how much the stuff costs. With that said I'm sure the parents probably flip out if that kid gets his Gucci shirt dirty from playing at the park or what not when that's what a 10 year old kid should be doing.

These lil ****** part of the chief keef era. Posted on the wall taking gangsta pics. These lil dudes scared me lowkey they stayed in a group the whole time mean mugging and danced when lil durk music came on lol.

But what do we expect? These gs kids see their big bro's paying 250+ for yeezys and foams u think they don't want em? They don't get the retro jordans because of jordan, they get em because we made em popular. My lil bro 14 he got the asteroid foams and hoop for his high school so he's pretty knowledgeable about hoops. I asked who shoe he had on and he got silent

When I have a kid, I won't buy him anything name brand unless it actually serves a purpose. My kid gonna be one of those dudes that rocks converse and vans because he sees no importance in expensive things that don't serve a purpose... I hope.

It's crazy. I see it alot as well with the kiddies these days. I wanted every Jordan that was out back in elementary school from the og 8's and on. I got some of them but they weren't the end all be all for me and I beat my shoes down to the ground. I don't blame the kids for wanting to be fly but it sucks it seems like they want to grow up to fast. They got their entire later teenage years and adult years to indulge in all the material things they want lol.
